Wheel offsets, pls post

Im having trouble finding a 2nd set of wheels with the correct offset for my R32 GTSt.

Can R31/32/33/34 owners who know there wheel details, diam/width, offset front to rear, & post for others to read. Also maybe mention if stock ride height, or approximation of how much lower than factory.

Im looking for 17 x 9 rears but to date all have stuck out way past the guards. Maybe i should be sticking with 8" wide rims.

I cant find the offset listed on my wheel so dont have a starting basis.

Anyway, im running with no clearance problems:

Car R32 GTSt

Fronts:

17 x 7 , offset ??? , with either 215/45/17 F451s or 225/40/17 DJ-01s

Rears:

17 x 8 , offset ??? , with either 235/45/17 F451s or 245/40/17 DJ01s

My car is lowerd approx 35mm all round.

Hi Roy,

I have 17x9 ANZ wheels(rear), offset I am pretty sure is 44. the 17x8s (front) are 33 once again pretty sure. This was the offset recommended by ANZ and they fit perfectly. Perhaps you could give them a ring and ask what offset they use just to confirm?

ive got 17x10s

and its low as hell 9.5cm to the ground. and 255s, i dont need to lip my gaurd yet, maybe when i try wit 275s on.

i dont know the offset but my rear wheels have much more of a dish compaird to my fronts (17x7.5)

i would measure the offset but its too hard due to having to find the center of the wheel then measure to the center of the wheel, hard to explain but i cant measure it accuratly.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've posted this a couple of times now .......but here goes again

17x8.5 offset +30 with 245 40 fit nicely on front or rear of R32 GTST and R33GTS25T

17x9.5 offset +40 with 255 40 are too big for the front of street car, fit fine on rear of R33 with stock suspension, need 5mmspacer with coilover. Fit fine on R32 with slightly lowered susp and rolled guards + needed stick on wheelweights on inner rim.

18x8 offset +31 with 235 35 fits fine front of R33

18x9 offset +34 with 265 35 fit fine on rear of R33 with stock susp. or coilover

factory for R32 turbo and R33 is 16x6.5 with 205 50 offset not known

Ronin 09 Flair the guards ....and dream on

personally I think at the rear ... the bigger the better, but on the front ...really wide tyres spoil the feel of the car and promote tramlineing etc. Micks R32 with 245 40 Pirelli on 17x8.5 at the front is truly horrible. My R33 with 235 35 on 18x8 at the front is nowhere near as bad but both cars feel a lot nicer with stock 205 on the front . I think 225 would be about right on a 7ins rim.
