yeah bad hair cut city, lebsalon 2006

That was something I noticed too, I reckon average age of people there was no more than about 18. Although the girls do pay alot more attention to you when your taking photos with a DSLR over the 20odd kids with various phones :(

Good job to the SAU guys as well the stand looked awesome, I walked around it a couple of times while I was there saturday arvo but I didn't see anyone I recognised to say hello to....

Also anybody know the reason for all the computer stuff down the end?

Thank you to all involved with the planning, preparation and setting up of the SAU stand.

A fine effort indeed resulting in a well deserved award.

The past two days was a great opportunity to get to know more members a lot better.

The antics of a few who were in a lets say 'not so sober state' had me laughing.

Me thinks we need to set aside some time and have brisby tell us some of his stories.

They are classics! I now have the utmost respect for you James.

There is no doubt people would pay to hear some of them because the scary thing is they are all true!

ps did anybody get my spec board? In my rush to leave I left it behind

LOL..today was funny. Best thing, the strippers just gave my credit card back after a hard days shopping :(

Thanks for putting up with me folks...Mav and Ash for carrying me through dinner...thanks, you know im good for it.

The 1200 Coupe was way cool

Wayne gets my vote for "Man of the Match"

My first Vic Auto Salon has me thinking the SAU stand attracts all the fashionable ppl...and thanks to the blonde lass for touching up my makeup :)

Congrat to SAU and Evolve, mine was the purple wide body 33 at the Topstage stand

Cheers

Phew, i was gonna change my mind at the last minute and paint my 33 same colour, ive already "copied" your kit luckily i didnt do the same with the paint!! :(

Your car used to be silver yeah?

Thanks!!!!! congrats to you guys, like I said ur stand looked awesome

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
