u need to pretty much do everything u can possibly do without touching the block. Bigger turbo, fuel system, cams, porting, ecu, the lot.. but it will pop sooner or later...

what engine? rb20de rb20det rb25de rb25det rb26de rb26det rb30e rb30et? what?

he HAS to be taking the piss if he asks if he needs a tune...

It will be a task from an RB26 without touching internals, task and a half from all the rest other than RB30DET :). You could probably count the number of runs you get from it on one hand before it spits a rod out of the side of the block or something. Then again, me being me, i like a bit of reliability.

Why do you want that much power? Whats the purpose of the car? Bragging dyno rights? or a drivable street car?

For that sort of power id go for a RB30DET or a RB26DETT.

Or better still a combination of both http://nissanskyline.6te.net/rb30det.htm

I have a question, if i run 6million psi on a stock turbo and i have a pod filter will i get 2000000000kw at the front wheels in my r33. And if i put a apexi sticker on with a bov will i get 1000hp more and a sik FLUTTER noise.......Also if put my bass cd on can i knock 2secs off my quatermile time with the push from the subwoofer and will i pick up chicks at the same time......

i want to know how to make 455 rwkw from standard engine.

what parts do i need to get.

how much am i looking at?

do i need a tune?

can i run 2 bar?

I'm impressed by the coherence of this post. I would have thought that seeing school's out as of this morning you would already be off guzzling bags of goon like it's water. That's what you fully sick ghetto thugs do now days isn't it?

Now now no need to be mean.

Just because you didnt see the sarcasm in my post doesnt mean you can take your inadequacies out on me.

For those that were helpful, thankyou. But my intention was to enlighten members of the fact that many people on this forum ask dumb questions like what i posted; Questions that really dont deserve an answer.

And no i think you would be thinking of Andrew G. Yes he is a tool. I totally agree.

now that we've had one helpful response I think we can safely say this guys question has been answered. in the interest of saving us all from more 'schools out' or "fvk off noob" posts I'm closing this thread. AndrewD: If you really have this goal, by all means post another thread, or pm me to re-open this one. but you are going to need to pony up some details about what exactly you have, and what you want to do with it.

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
