Poor S13... it's like being shot down before getting to the combat zone when youre a kamakazi pilot, S13's are supposed to be destined for a firey, glorious explosions somewhere sideways and then off a cliff.

f**k i just wanna stab someone right now!!! Stupid assessors are being assholes.. mine included! Giving me retarded excuses about not assessing the car just yet.

christmas time or not! it's been plenty of time to have an assessor look at the car! My assessment has been done (finalised today) yet they haven't even looked at it!

anyhow, I was just venting because getting angry at them isn't smart, so I'm just getting angry here.

abo bob - he got all narky at me today coz I was following up (even though i hadn't spoken to him in 4 days! So a reckon a nice phone call every day will be nice.. bit of sweet talking! he'll love it!

Are you with just cars?

If so I had similar problems. Took them around 6 weeks to do it. They only finally got something done becuase I rang up and spoke to a manager and said that I would be going to the ombudsman if it wasn't assesed within a week. They also paid a week later. The assesor kept on making excuses and assing around.

So definitely worth trying.

mx5 + your sr20 would be a fun car to drive and heaps of power on tap when needed :P

considering I'm probably going to lose a fair bit of money from this crash and had a fair bit of damage done to my back, I want something cheap cheap cheap and something that feels a bit safer than a mx5.

Yeah I saw there was a red one doing dutton that was getting some decent times.. (MX-5 / SR20)

http://www.miatasr20.com/ has kits with brackets to mount the SR into the Miata...

have YOU sat in an mx5 lately? lol. I'm 6'1".. i don't think my left leg will fit in one let alone my whole body lol

Hah, a friend of mine at uni had one and they're insanely tough. This bloke in a brand new HSV cut her off one day while we where on the way to school one morning and lets just say, he cut it a 'bit fine' pulling in front of her...

Whole back end of the commo was lying across the road and I'm getting out thinking, shit the front end of the horrible orange panzer must be gone as well because of the mess.

Nope... ;)

Theres a thumb sized chunk out of the big, ugly arsed bumper and some scratches but that was it, I climbed underneath and checked out the damage thinking somethings got to have been bent, twisted or busted because the HSV was pretty much a write off.

Nothing! Not a f'ing thing

      Unless you're fortunate enough to buy a newer car, getting an older style plate to match your name/car is difficult because they've already been purchased.  Unlike other countries, personalised plates are locked to the country and not region, so there can't be multiple versions of the same plate but with a different area code.  Hope that helps

      Today's rock removal from my stock pile out the back into a 4m³ skip bin, I still have a bit to go, hopefully there's enough room in the skip bin, it will be close My daughter and her boy was coming on Sunday to help, but, I got possessed by demons and started work as soon as the bin arrived at 1230 today Lots and lots of barrow loads were achieved  Currently I'm sitting on the lounge drinking beer thinking of how I should have waited till Sunday for some help, tomorrow will be a day off, in saying this, my day off will involve prep and paint of my alloy coolant and PS tanks with wrinkle paint (Jackie is in Sydney till Sunday so the home oven will get a run curing the paint....LOL)

      That's why I said it is a meaningless term. Because there is more than one meaning that people can apply to it. When we said "highflow", that is exactly what we mean, and exactly what is done. In a highflow, they take your housing and machine them out to take bigger wheels, have a better internal profile, etc etc, and fit a new core with the different/better/bigger wheels.
