Any idea where i can get my windows done? I want 20% done (and yes, i realise that it's overdark) but i don't know who's willing to do it around melb.

I have 20% on my car looks the goods, so far Ive had no trouble when pulled over for a 'random' or at a bose bus etc.....

most of the tinters will do it for you . you just have to ask for the good stuff 20%..... they will warn you about the legalities etc etc...

Its never really a problem until RWC time

yeah most tinters will do it for you, they will always warn u about the legality issues and most of the time make you sign a form stating u know very well its illegal and its your own fault if you get caught

go for it, i had 7% on one of my cars, now that was sexy

I've been looking that way, but the couple i spoke to said that they couldn't do it, so i thought maybe someone here knew someone who would.

Yeah, a lot will but warn about safety & RWC issues.

Some will not receipt the work.

My tinter had 5% on a black 4WD with 30% on windscreen.

More for promo work, but he reckons he could down a tinny at the lights next to the cops & they couldn't see in. :0)

yeh but you won't be covered for insurance. it takes them about 30secs to test it. Depends on the situation as to whether they'll test it but just keep it in mind.

i have 5% on my car got it done about a month ago. Most tinting places will do whatever percentage you want you usually just have to pay them in cash though. just call any of them out of the yellow pages and ask for the % you want. I had 20%'s on my celica which i got done at tint a car, my 5%'s on my 33 were done by guys called southern cross window tinting.

I'm getting like 15% on my car, for 3 cars $200 each.. It's a group buy thing, where abouts you live? Can add you ass well, can get the price down even lower
