Out of interst, did you young guys (19/20) with 34's actually pay for them with savings, or have car/personal loans to get them at your age?

If you paid cash, can I get in on whatever drugs you are selling :O LOL

lol kralster, thats what i meant, i wont lie i had the same deal with the lancer i bough back in the day when i was 16. if i saved more i would have got a better car sure, but meh, it was good on economy, 4 door, good for a few mates to go hooning in haha, the good old school days.

you only 19 v-man?

young gun.

20 in July :(

Yeah no i actually paid for the car myself. It's called saving.

Its called taking year of uni to work night shift every night and quit drinking as well as cut down on oging out HEPAS :) But its worth it 4 me

i feel so old knowing how young he is :O

ur 20 and im turining 20 in 1 month...

lol you know what, now that i have one i prefer it also, but andy's GTR i would take over my car any day.

Yes the R34 GTR will be on top of my "if you had the money and could buy any car you wanted, what would you buy?" list!! >_<

probably the same for a lot of people on this forum...

Go the tripple post

what you doing with you old brakes :D you can send them my way ill pay shipping ;)

Sorry my computer had a fit ;)

I hadnt even thought of that but will let you know >_<

Ages are starting to even out. I guess its the "Friday Night Crowd" that is the youngans LOL.

I'm very interested in this sunday cruise Paully made mention of.

For Sunday cruises my wife will usually come along too, she hates being out late on friday nights just sitting in the car, although she usually looks for other lass's to talk to. So begs the next Q: Am I one of a few Married ppl on here too? Or even in long term relationships?

Just trying to get to know the ppl I chat too ;)

Im married and im into cars more then my husband lol

I try and make the new girls that come out on cruise comfortable as most of the converstaions are about bits on cars so it can get a bit boring and hard for them....Its nice when there are other girls out...

I have had a 180sx and then a bmw (big mistake) and now my GTR

Hehe thats funny. Sounds like when I was at my last placement (oil and gas company), it was very male dominated so when the girls got together we went off on a tangent. Once we ended up talking about washing powder. We then sorta looked at each other and laughed realising that this was an odd conversation here - it wouldn't have happened if there was any male in sight  Rare moment!

Yeah I get on with guys better then girls as like the same things...but finding alot more girls like me its awesome..

I like to do the girly thing here and there but always end up talking about cars in the end lol >_<

Thats funny washing powder lol.... I talk about girly things just to wind the boys up and annoy them sometimes

You guys 25 is only a quarter of the way there!!!

Im only 27, im engaged and have a 17yr old son in law!

We own the 34, but the other half is too short to drive it! >_<

sif have thumbups up to that comment lol  :laughing-smiley-014:

Dam boys and there toys...I had to buy my own GTR cause my other half gets funny about me driving his GTR... so now the tables have turned and he doesn't like how he isnt allowed to drive mine :laughing-smiley-014:

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
