yep what a day, worked out in the end

Full boost before was at 4250rpm, think it is the same still , don't know to busy watching

the road:)

I can get 20+psi on just a footbrake if i want, no point though, anymore than 3200rpm

and 3 psi and it digs a hole on mt drag radials

Darren, How much of an exhaust and what size you running?

Daz, tell the real story. It was 471.3rwkw - that point 3 can make a big difference

Three 450-470+rwkw runs, back-to-back and in 40+'c heat. Impressive stuff.

4 inch dump, 3 inch exhaust full length of the car, 1 big muffler

and a little muffler at the back, i have no intention on ever using no

exhaust and race fuel..its a street car, and a challenge.

first pull was 460, then 1 or 2 degrees of timing 471, was there a 450?

can't remember

cheers

the power fc logit is the way to go for sure i have no knock and and pulls hard all the way to 8000

prolly around 280 to 290 + easy

see how long b4 i need new turbo's

got held at customs for 7 days now (and $500 for duty + gst)

to "protect" the local business...but the thing is, nismo clutch can only be bought oversea, not made locally :nyaanyaa:

way to make money

ok time for ppls thoughts

a mate of mine his R34 made 147RWKW @ the last dyno day and that was running stock boost

he has since got another tunner to put a boost controller on just the bleed type and a fuel cut defender and now hes making 204RWKW from a NEO ive spoken to a couple of others and i really didnt think just winding boost up to 14psi on a neo would get you over 200kw

anyone elses thoughts on these NEO engines

Its around the mark considering its running the fcd. BUT 14psi is iffy on the R34 turbo.

Generally 11psi ish makes that sort of power (maybe a touch more as the R34 turbo's ted to push 10-15rwkw more than the rb25det turbo's so 210-215rwkw) when ign and fueling is optimal (ecu).

Hey Madaz

Yeah sounds right. I'd say though between 12 and 14psi he would have about half a kw difference! So he should probably put the boost down a little before things go bang.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
