Hey every one,

I got in to a bit of trouble today on the coast.

I lost control of my 32 and took out two parked cars :)

The whole left front and rear quater look more like a crumpled beer can than a skyline.

But dont worrie you should see the other two cars. Ahhhhhhh i guess its time like these all you can do is look on the brighter side of life hey?

Its a good thing ive only had the car for 2 months which is not in my name yet nor do i have insurance, other wise i would be really screwed.

Please laugh with me at my expence its the only thing keeping my sane.

Noza

Daddy is not rich, im taking this one on the chin.

I went to over take a car that was doing about 20ks. When i hit boost there was another car that just turned, and is now heading straight on in front of me.

So when i pulled back into my lane (after over taking the slow one) i was doing about 70 and there was a car that stoped at a perdestrian crossing about 4 car lenghs infront of me. So i slamed on the brakes and the whole car drifted to the left and side swiped 2 parked cars.

Only having the car for 2 months im still getting the hang of driving a turbo.

Yeah i stoped, i had no other option. There were about 30 witnesses.

I work in a law office, so i know exactly what im in for. (good thing theres over time this weekend)

The other drivers have all my details, i guess its people like me that give good skyline citizens like you all a bad name to the public.

Im sorry :)

Well.... now we have nothing to rip into you about.... i was here for some entertainment :)

Haha no, well done that you stopped. You could have killed someone, i hope you realise that - learn from this one buddy, even if you know the law im sure you wont be able to get your way out of vehicular manslaughter or whatever the hell its called in Australia.

now i know why i wont let my skyline out on the road without insurance too many other people out there that dont have it so at least in the event of getting hit my wheels willstill be repaiered without too much hassle

yep it takes a little practice untill you're able to not mash the brakes in a crash stop situation. hardwire the notion that you don't have abs into your head

    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
