when i first bought my car i was a complete n00b.. so i sent my car to advan. he surely did fix my misfiring problem.. and i surely did pay through the ass.

that goes with most reputable companies though. theyve built the name so you pay for it. advan get the thumbs up though.

Yep Advan are excellent for all skylines and so are CRD but be prepaired to fork out the $$$ you pay for the name...

Like most reputable tuning shops and brand name manufacturers you pay for quality......Not the name as stated above.

I recently spoke to Peter about doing a full rebuild of my RB26 and he was a nice bloke to deal with...

Advan are quite known for modifying Skylines and seemed to be the one stop shop for all things skyline related hence why I have chosen them to be on my short list.

The other workshop is Gavin Woods AutoTech who have always been highly recommened on SAU so, the choices are split between this two workshops.

I just got back from Croydon Racing after picking up a FMIC kit and talk about a workshop! These guys are honestly in the high end of the automotive game... they had about 10 GTR's... 6 GTST's... 5 200sx's and a monster 500rw/kw (700rw/hp) XR6 Turbo ute all being worked on!

Lance and Theo were very genuine guys and treated me as if i was a friend rather then just anyone off the street... Highly recommend their service and their work is by far already proven...

Cheers

You're split between a workshop in NSW, and a workshop in QLD???

Has anyone here used Advan Performance in Sydney before as I have heard they are the experts when it comes to GTR's??

I am looking at modifying my GTR to around my target of 400kw at all four.

If you dont want to express your feelings here then you could pm me your thoughts..

Cheers.

For such a well known workshop that are experts in modifying GTR's can you tell me 3 current examples they've done that excel at there chosen motorsport ie drags or track

Im not saying they don't exsist but for the life of me can't think of any but Im only into drag

When i went to get my kit. They had the RH9 R34 on the dyno. From memory and at the time pumped out a little under 900hp.They also had a GTST from india getting the full treatment including a $90,000 motor!

But was being built purely for drag.

Yea Theo at CRD was telling me about them...

$90,000 Engine

$20,000 ECU settup

$15,000 Break & Suspension

$45,000 Gear Box

I just couldn't believe the prices he was telling me... one car owed $300,000 and the other $250,000 just for performance mods...

The car made 1450HP at the flywheel

Damn impressive...

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
