Nice dude! none of me yet, but Aaron (m5) will be stoked with the one(s) of him. Thanks for that.

And of course thanks to everyone else, organisers, marshals, cooks, etc  Sick of hearing it yet?

thats only the first 12 of 137 vidz..taking a while to upload is all.

i'm pretty sure every-one who hit the skid pan had at least one vid of them taken

Martin, that is an ace vid on me on Super Nintendo! Thanks so much for recording, definately makes future events more enjoyable being able to learn. Good work

LOL! Thanks mate. Anyone know what the white stuff is straight after the hand brake turn? I have been chatting to Paul R33 but dont know whether it is rings or clutch. The clutch was completely out at that point with foot flat on the accelerator.

Well i think that topped off yet another Great DECA.. I Firstly have to say a Huge thanx to Chris for letting me run with his semi's on the rear they made a HUGE difference and i have a new found love for them...

Thanx to all the officials and of course those who again did a fantastic job of making the whole event successful.

Thanx to Ray for getting my car ready for the event.

And also thank to Jarrod, Mel, Min, Chris, Bec, Simon for helping me on the way home. Cheers Ryan and bec for waiting with me and HUGE THANX to jack for again coming and saving my ass ......

Over all fantastic and yes front stage at the strippers was tops :)

The running of these days are getting pretty much flawless, or at least the club is doing such a great job that no one would even know if things weren't running well. Even running a bit behind and slightly changing the schedule goes smoothly! Thanks to the usual suspects who helped organise and run the day (club and officials).

Have done every single one of these things now in the taxi (even if the colour did change hehe) and they've all been top fun. My only problem now is after having driven an evo around the pan, I think I'm ready to hang up the sideways antics (or bad attempts at sideways antics). Team Evo ftw!

Finally a big thanks to the President James for letting me run around in his Stock Cheater Evo. Straight out of the box they are an impressive machine and once you understand them damn easy to drive fast.

Have to agree completely there Snowy. Drove Fooey's in one of the morning sessions and while I know it was still quick, wasn't that impressed other than the steering feel and response of the car. But a later attempt in the afternoon "funtime" session using some suggested driving changes and well....f**k me!!! brake, turn in and punch it at the right time and it's almost like the moment you accelerated it latched onto a couple rails and just got on with business! (thanks heaps fooey)

As usual, don't need to see the results but bring on the videos!

What heppened to the car Mav?

Had a water line or something pop off

shot coolant all out the car.. Lucky Jarrod saw the steam and told me to stop or it could have been very very nasty.....

Car is at rays will hopefully have it back tomorrow as long as its something simple

lol, sounds familiar :D. Lucky indeed mav.

This was my first time as a spectator, made me wish I could have been driving. Oh well  THanks to everyone that let me ride shotgun! Sammus, Tom, Troy and Ryan (and anyone else I forgot).

Soo much fun. I'll post all of the incriminating evidence against everyone once i get the camera of Melissa tomorrow. James, your in trouble.

Thanks to the people to made everything run to well throughout the day, quote of the day, " DONT GET OUT OF FIRST!" poite.

Wow mate, I was driving the #20 WRX (Dark Blue) and damn, that video footage blew me away! It didn't seem that fast when I was driving, but it gave me a really good idea of how the car was leaning/sliding around so I might be able to improve it a bit next time! Thank you.

Also, additional thanks to EVERYONE involved in the organisation - top entertainment during the day and just as good fun of the night :D Thank you all...

Now... where is my checkbook? I need one of them Evo thingamajigs

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
