Now we have 11/12 that are very interested some have already paid deposits... now I need deposits from the rest of you people, I WILL be ringing Dave tomorrow to give our final numbers and all those that haven't got deposits done by then WILL miss out as I know that the day is full.

Setup for this day will be 4 groups.

Group A (Fastest/Experienced Drivers)

Group B (Those that have been before but still want a bit more practice)

Group C (The Newbies and the slower cars such as excels and stuff)

Group D has been booked by a group booking.

I had thought that we would put our people as follows.

Group A, Roy, Bonkers, Zane, Oz and Majanal

Group B, Akira, Roys Mate, Nissaners mate and Shunted.

And let Prank, Carlo and Nissaner make up there own mind in which group they would like to be part of.

I believe that Duncan might be around to help out with a few tips to help people drive a bit slower and to try and convince them that cheater tyres is the way to go!

Cheers,

Dan.

!

just paid $50 for my friend...

Thanks for that Jon - you are a true Gentleman :)

Dan, you forgot Group F - reserved for the Fatz/B-Man 8 sec corolla project - and that's on the gravel track around the outside of EC - I think 1:55's are on the cards. :)

Oh, well one day I'll be able to run my car are EC - Looks like Pete & I are on BBQ & Beer duty (Oh, no alcohol at EC, I remember.......) :)

my friend was running in group b last year with his s15... so should be able to do group b with his type r without problem :) (i'll let him know anyway coz seeing as he came 5th overall in honda wakefield track day he might like to run in group a... ) i've always run in group c (twice actually.. only been to 2 ec track days..) but might try b this time... :)

John,

I was thinking that Prank, Carlo and yourself could decide if you want to run in A or B, C will be pretty slow this time due to D being book for a private group. You Guys will be WAY to fast for group C.

I think under 2 min for Group A, under 2.10 for group B is about right. If you don't know, or haven't been out there before, take group C with fatz, you can always move up later.

    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
    • Ah coolant overflow, previous discussions make way more sense now lol.
    • ok. Yea, then I would need to remove the turbo and weld an adapter on to it instead, if I fuc* this one up.
