Hey guys,

Just got in, hope you guys thought my ride with looking good, i only picked it

up on friday at 5 a'clock so im wrapped that i got it back in time.

braddles.

im guessing u'rs was the 33 with the only SAU stickers on it i was hopeing to chat to you day but missed u due to the dyno.

altho show was below standed. semi we got to put in abig club display. the only 1/2 decent club display was allure and obseive.

trader standes were down. so was the dyno with only one dyno, and the amount of cars.

ill put my pics tomow. the one car i like was a yellow wide body s13 with transferormers stickers on it.

yeh mate, had no front plate. gtr bar. back plate in the front window was lthl.

Was down alot this yr but thats how it is first semi final, we made half an effort

with our stand, got a couple sponsors.. but im not into going all out etc.. was happy

with it, i think people have been getting over salon for yrs.. i just go cause i enjoy

this kinda thing.

went today to offer LTHL some "support"....

as always pretty crappy.. nothing really outstanding.. except for all the fully sick fluro shirts and crazy hairstyles... some people should be shot.

I did like the bikes though.

Went today.. while down melbourne for the weekend.

Must say, was missing cars, no GT-R's. A few GTS-T.

The 180 made a new record. 251kw/ltr.

and overall hp too.

Saw the Supra on the dyno. 726.1KW? I think. Below last years. He made 749KW last year?

STEVEM's S15 was very nice.

The gold plated turbos in the QSR BMW was big. The car took away more then 8 Trophies.

Overall, lacked in girls and cars.

Bike display was low too. There were more parked outside of the centre then inside.

Ah well... see what happens...

Whens the finals?

Saw LTHL's car and looked around for the owner but couldnt find him. Was gonna introduce myself after seeing the SAU stickers.

My fav car was probably a blueish 180. Looked insane. The guy went all out as well. The words 180 and Nissan were all over the car. He even managed to get the word "nissan" in the middle of his subwoofer. Very nice.

Was hoping to see more skylines. Saw both the holder and the supra dyno runs. Pretty damn crazy.

Well the bikes were more than last year, of which there were none :(

So the bikes that were there actually caught my eye quite well.

Was a good addition

Finals are Nov

yeah was my first AS in a couple years and i found the standard was really awesome.

Couple cars that stood out was the

Series 5 RX7 with the supra abflug kit, looked awesome. As well as the ABFlug supra sitting next to it with the airbrushing (tasteful airbrushing)

The baby blue wrx with suicide doors and hydraulics...

And the new Euroline car club made a good impression at the entrance.

Seemed to me a lot less rice and more performance than 2 years ago when I went last.

Euroline Automotive was a trade stand, they do bodykits / custom paint jobs etc..

But yes they had a good set up.

My friends Blue Kitted RX8 was with their stand.

    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
