Holy shit three post talk about getting ur message across.

Eye dog by the sounds of ur car you will need more than an eye dog.

So how long before you get it going.

It wont happen overnight sub. If i had stuck to the original plan of basic mods like a hiflow, injectors etc It would be going now but this has become a major project. Just going to have to do it bit by bit as the wallet allows.

Breaking it down in to stages seems to be the best approach. Next step is the valvetrain. Looking to convert to solid lifter setup atm to open the cam selection wider. Once we have decided on cams the head is ready to reassemble and refit.

The only change to the bottom end will be an upgrade oil pump and sump baffling.

Then its on to the bolt ons. I already have some but still in need of a turbo, gate, bov, himount etc etc. All it takes is money.

lookin good Noel...3037s ftw. BTW no need for bigger brakes....willowbank has enough run off to slow down  Save the money for something else hahaha

also no need for:

- an interior

- air conditioning

- abs

- stereo

...the list goes on.

I can't wait to see it once it's done, keep us updated.

why the hell would you bore yourself with just drags....come on. My 13 yr old brother could dust youz all if he was in a fast enough car. Damn i reckon with a good set of drag slicks the r33 could do tens....with my brother driving haha.

It cant be that much more can it??

Low mount still needs new intake and dump pipes and a spacer made up..so all you need extra is the manifold???

Well its all aout heat, I went hi mount for the chicks :P

Nah seriouslly I have had to put allot of time and money into heat sheilds to guard it from all the important bits.

Not to mention the Police factor, If I were to be pulled over Id get reemed...

Goin himount col.

BTW, Are blue undys good for any more power?

:) Staying true, it will be a case of series 1 vs series 2 at the drags now as we will be sharing much of the same.

rb20's dont count, sorry

RB20's were so 1992... :P

I will have my seeing eye dog to keep on the straight.

Make sure you get one that is rated to 100mph+ as most are only good for about 90mph before they blow their manifolds :P

Honestlly, you would be supprised how fast that exit comes up when you pop over the line at 130mph...

Yes standard brakes would probablly be enough, but I feel far more comfortable with slotted rotors, race pads and dot 5 liquid...

My seeing eye dog will have blue undys. he can go warp seepd in those things.

andy is right.

it might all be tongue in cheek but this whole 30 vs. 26 vs. 25 vs. 20. gts vs. gtr thing is getting old.

the forum just becomes a vicious cycle of my e-wang is proportional to my displacement.

nice work on the time noel

s even better Eug, Lazy bastard smashed through the 12 barrier last night with a hot 12.7, Thats damn good driving with just a hiflow and injectors over the usual exhaust and fmic etc. :)

yeh he texted me this morning... bout time he got his launches down pat and cracked 12s!

Andy My man! 13.51 in the bionic wheelchair last night. WOOOOt :)

Did i hear you say you had some info for me?

thats good going mate, I will have to get some tips from you cause I dont reckon I could manage that in my car ha ha

Yes I have info I will send from home as I dont want to get in trouble for net usage at work again lol

I still think he can find mid 12's if would cook the shit out of his tyres. Too soft on the burnouts.

I doubt there is much left in the chair tho. Its launching really well but the 60 foot times and the terminal speed tells me its at its limit and simply needs more grunt to improve both.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
