I got some for my GTR - $295 from Roof Carrier Systems in Camberwell. Brand new - custom made to fit using Thule components.

Fit 2x bike carriers/board carriers very nicely :P

Re: Snow season... slightly OT, but roofracks are easy - you ever tried finding chains for 18x10 wheels! Hens teeth are easier. Lucky I still have the Lada :(

After getting the Nissan violated - it was described to me as having my young Japanese girlfriend raped, and having to return to the Russian mail-order-bride for solace :)

Here is my favourite 'family photo':

Hopefully not too long before my baby comes back. Been 2 months now :D

this is up for auction here

they're goin for 4000Y which is roughly $55, but expect to have paid 3 times that value to get it in your hands (taxes, commissions, postage etc)

I'll look for some roof racks

Found a roof rack.

Its actually a ski carrier (but I guess that's a roof rack) Its 1000Y or $13 (expect to pay about a $100 to have it in ya hands).

On auction here, but it finishes in roughly 23 hours. So betta hurry :P

PS: its off a 4 door r33 so dunno how it'll be on yours, guess its the same coz the roof is the same.

  • 1 month later...

OK - just under 3 months and I get my car back :D Yay!

Here are promised photos of Thule racks:

Just been to IKEA

Couldn't be bothered removing the bike carriers before loading up with a new desk and coffee table :)

Pads on roof are soft rubber, clamping arms are plastic-coated.

Racks and bike carriers all made by Thule.

If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
