Yeah I bought a non-turbo once.... never again lol. I regretted it, the feel of boost is sure something I wont get over. Plus after getting my car I went to the toilet and instantly noticed how much bigger my penis had become...

mate, just bite the bullet ditch that lancer and buy a skyline!! ive had my s2 33 for bout 4 months and i love it, the power the way it looks and just how u can hammer it and hammer it and it just wont break, yer sure they require a bit more attension like servicing etc, but once u sit in it and boost away from the lights ul completely forget about the loan or money u have to spend cause ur havin the time of ur life in the best car eva made!!! cheers

I'm a full time student and only work part time, I've had to fix up a lot of things in the last 6 months or so, but i guess you can expect that from an older import. Either way I have managed to up-keep my car pretty well. Apart from expensive fuel, maintenance isn't usually too bad, esp. if you can manage your own minor services every 5000km. The only things I hate are tyres and insurance, I have 18's on my car so a full tyre set (235/40's) cost me around $1k and comprehensive insurance costs $2.7k per yr upfront. If something goes bust you can either hit a wrecker or order from japan - doesn't take too long and a cheaper option most of the time in comparison to genuine nissan parts. I love my car and can guarantee you'll have a ball if you buy one :domokun:

I have a Skyline.. my 1st Car ever... n got it once i got my 1st Full Time Job.., i went for my Manual license.. which i drove an Auto for 3 years plus. As soon as i passed my Manuals.. i went n got da BEAST..., It's one heck of a ride. Gettin used to the power, scene, modding and u know stuff that happens on the street ;-) chop chop chop hehehe...

I have so many plans it's endless... i move from one hobby to another... and now it's the skyline. As long as ur living ur Passion in Life is all that matters... cuz u never know wat tommorrow will bring..., Nike couldn't make it any simplier wif there slogan "JUST DO IT" hehehe

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
