Hi people - just moved to NSW from QLD and I registered my R33 turbo today. I kept hearing that it was going to be about $800 - $900 dollars, but it only cost about $623. My CTP was $256 from NRMA and rego was $236 plates were $31 and finally $100 for blue slip. Whats blows me out is that my rego + ctp (no rwc required) renewal in queensland was $730 and in NSW rego + ctp (no blue or pink slip) is only $492. What do you guys pay?

Depends on how old you are and what area you live in.

I was looking at anywhere from $340-$420 for my greenslip (yes I am older than I look).

I think that next year my car might get a little more expensive ('95 r33).

Everything else is standard govt. charges. I do not have a custom plate.

You may need $25 for pink slip.

All this pales against comprehensive...

T.

305 CTP

45 Reg Tax

291 Motor Vehicle Tax

378 Custom Plates

My Tare weight is 1506 - which I think is too much (and I think the taxes are based on weight) What are everyone elses Tare weights ???

Not you Tosh, you don't have enough cylinders mate !

Cheers,

WOW - big differeces with rego etc.

In Canberra I pay $680 which covers everything - we don't have green slips etc... Or maybe we do but it's all included in the total rego cost !!!

Oh, hang on.. NRMA do the compolsoary (sp) thrid party thing I think.

Ronin - sell the car and buy a pushie - that's all I can think of !! :)

haha my renewal form says $620.80 for the year...you're getting ripped Jay! Seriously though, the only difference in pricing here (for private rego) is weight isn't it?? Why should ours be different prices then? My weight's 1380.

But anyway, i only paid $181.00 - cos I was pov and only renewed it for 3 months :)

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
