Theres a rather nice one on Old cleveland road at coorparoo. They always seem to have something a little different and at least try to present their stock in a tidy manner. The guys seemed friendly enough too.

Theres another on the western end of the magic mile that looks like it takes a little pride in what it does too.

AutoForce was the name of the one at Eight Mile Plains - just down the road from Garden City shopping centre. Like I said its been a while but the head guy there always put well presented cars on the lot and most of them already had the kit/wheels/paint done so you didn't have to worry about it... pay for it tho...

If thats the one that was just before Miles Platting road on the left I dont think they are there any more.

I got mine from a place called Brisbane Unique Cars. They have a website. The guys there are rather nice and will move on price on the cars. Just get your own Roadworthy done rather then theirs just to be safe. I got a feeling the roadworthy done on my car wasn't too great so I got somebody else to check it out and Brisbane Unique Cars were more then happy to fix the problems found.

What are you looking for???

Modified, stock, R32/33/34, GTS/GTST/GTR

Price range???

Honestlly, Your best off having a look at whats for sale here on SAU...

You will buy 3-5k cheaper than a yard, and most of us know the cars/owners already...

(So you can get a second or third opinion)

haha got to be stupid to buy from springwood/underwood yards.. all of them are greedy cocks..

buy private.

organise a weekend to come down and look at all of them at one time..

or u can buy the R34 GTT 54,oookms silver. est 185kw+ for 20k with R33 rims of 22k with the 18" Volk TE37

AJM motorsports on Compton Rd, near underwood or Kingston i think. They have good cars, but can be dodgey ive heard. One good thing about buying fom a dealer is that you get a warranty with your purchase. You can always negotiate the price.

If u ever get up to Marybrough, Brad Bottcher used cars up there is really good, got awesome quality cars and prices cheaper than most car yards in the Brisbane area. I got mine from there :D

I see that yard regularly on my way to hervery bay. He does present his stock in a clean and proffessional manner.

    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
