lol

you mexican fags are funny

i recon there is 3 laps to get used to the track

one lap to post a time

then the rest of the weekend to sink tins cause ive blown the engine or punted it into a wall

and im not talking "roy i tapped the wall with my bot bot tap and bent my noodle tap"

The good news for you Pete is that if you DO tap the wall at PI it'll be one to remember.

Given that 3 of the corners are faster than turn 1 at EC and a 4th is about the same (Turn 12 has a slower entry speed but a faster exit speed than EC turn 1) you can appreciate that any decent offs will be good footage from outside of the car :D

So you're going back to stock? :)

You and your stock standard spec rubbish. I'm in for this - and I can even guarantee my times. Just take a tenth off Ferni's best time and you wont be far off....

bbbwwwhhahaaaaa

hahaha I hope i have tyres sorted out for this, if i do, i'm gonna take a second out of you, screw this one tenth bullshit

LOL...too bad that i will be in the 49s now that i have suspension that will actually keep all 4 wheels on the ground. Proving you only need 235rwks and rwd to get into the 49s at PI.

LOL, there is that part of me that wants to give Pete the keys to my car. Its the binning thing that worries me :) But im betting he would be bloody quick.

All silly business aside, it will be interesting how quick the car is with new suspension and brakes.?!?!?! I still say as the car is with old Bilsteins there is a 1:50.## in it. Easily 1 second with just doing a few more laps, and improving on the 1:52 flat i did. So, hopefully the suspension makes as big a difference as everyone makes out :)

Warning: Smack talk coming:

If I can drag 250rwKw outta the ol' RB25DET, that might nearly cancel the weight advantage You're enjoying there Roy.. . . (Maybe I won't sell ol' flamey the big Cannon Exzorst)

But really, how much difference is there between a late model R32 (heavier then the 89s) and R33? I would rather a responsive 250rwkws and extra 80kgs then being a tad lighter with less power, peakier at that.

Its laughable that Bobo the Snowclown and Scotchfinger are beating their chests about leaving me behind in the 50s. Anyone would think they are the pacesetters. They are still carting spit buckets and bash hats around for Jag and Aaron. Talking A-Grade when your playing B-Grade :) I thought that was my line :)

Good one Princess. I'm pretty sure I recall being in the 1.49's with a near stock GT-R. Don't recall too many others doing that. So surely if a stockish GT-R can get into the 49's a lighter - more powerfull rwd skyline should be able to do it easy.

As for those other 2 prima donnas - it's been a bit hard to catch them from the sidelines. But I'm sure by the end of the year we'll have the pecking order corrected.

YEHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feed that beast baby. :)

I know your frustration. Just fuelling the fire to make sure you push through all the shit you have had to go through of late

I dont know of any rwd guys going to the track with the same power your car made with stock turbs. I wich i was running 260rwkws earlier this year at PI and Sandown. Sadly the training wheels fell off my car and there was no point "pulling the pin" on the Ben's hose spec boost controller :) But we will see Bobo, we will see. I know i will cop it if i dont roll into the 49s. But i havent been wrong yet with any of my predictions re my lap times :D

Brisby, don't forget you've gotta drive your car home for the time to count :)

Ferni...wrong, wrong, wrong.......... WRONG!

You only have to cross the finish line for the time to count. If your car can be drive home then there is something left in it and you can go quicker. The thing should fall into a pile of steaming bits 5mtrs pass the line. Otherwise, your nursing it, you may as well take up collecting stamps. Either that or nursing all the other little girls at the local kindy :P

lol yea baby

i love trash talk

can you take passenegers on saturday??

hope my shitbox r31 gts gets near a 1:50

might have to borrow my mates kazz rear end for the weekend

fats I enjoy your courage and ability but 1 min 50in a R31 like pushing a brick and you are dreamin and my shout if you even get within a second or so of this.

I will be there with bells on and new mods to zed should give you Mexicans a run. Will also have wider rear wheels and tyres and will be turning up the boost with the BUTTON. I just emailed Ben from Rae Pace to tell him I will be down for this one. He has got to get his beast out to this one.

Snowman I take it there will be enough spots for all? Make sure you let us know when we can register so we all get in quick to be sure.

true true but hey i say 1:50 or bust

and i love free beer

guess i might borrow some semi's seeing as all the mexican think they are street tyres

dont know about trading in my 5 dollar fitted a tyre specials

people might think im posh if i rocked up to a track day with real tyres

anyone have 16 inch semi's they want to give a part time track hack

i happy to pay with beer

    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
    • Place the new daughterboard in the case and mount it using the 3 small black rivets provided, and reconnect the 3 factory ribbon cables to the new board Then, use the 3 piggyback cables from the daughterboard into the factory board on top (there are stand offs in the case to keep them apart. and remember to reconnect the antenna and rear cover fan wires. 1 screw to hold the motherboard in place. Before closing the case, make a hole in the sticker covering a hole in the case and run the cable for the android unit into the plug there. The video forgot this step, so did I, so will you probably. Then redo the 4 screws on back, 2 each top and bottom, 3 each side and put the 2 brackets back on.....all ready to go and not that tricky really.
    • Onto the android unit. You need to remove the top screen because there is a daughterboard to put inside the case. Each side vent pops out from clips; start at the bottom and carefully remove upwards (use a trim remover tool to avoid breaking anything). Then the lower screen and controls come out, 4 screws, a couple of clips (including 3 flimsy ones at the top) and 3 plugs on the rear. Then the upper screen, 4 screws and a bunch of plugs and she is out. From there, remove the mounting brackets (2 screws each), 4 screws on the rear, 2 screws top and bottom and 3 screws holding in the small plates on each side. When you remove the back cover (tight fit), watch out for the power cable for the fan, I removed it so I could put the back aside. The mainboard is held in by 1 screw in the middle, 1 aerial at the top and 3 ribbon cables. If you've ever done any laptop stuff the ribbon cables are OK to work with, just pop up the retainer and they slide out. If you are not familiar just grab a 12 year old from an iphone factory, they will know how it works The case should now look like this:
    • Switching the console was tricky. First there were 6 screws to remove, and also the little adapter loom and its screws had to come out. Also don't forget to remove the 2 screws holding the central locking receiver. Then there are 4 clips on either side....these were very tight in this case and needed careful persuading with a long flat screw driver....some force required but not enough to break them...this was probably the fiddliest part of the whole job. In my case I needed both the wiring loom and the central locking receiver module to swap across to the new one. That was it for the console, so "assembly is the reverse of disassembly"
