Ryno
Wow, impressive results Warlord... I've gone for super response with my GT-RS, by using a small diameter tuned length exhaust manifold and external gate, and your setup is not a great deal laggier than mine. I obviously make more power low in the rev range, but we make the exact same power at 120 kph and then you run away from me with an extra 80 kw at the top end. Lithium
It is hard to tell spool from that with no rpm axis, but looks like a nice wide power band impressive power for the boost. Driven it yet? How does it go? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172704-money-money-money/page/18/#findComment-6744792 Share on other sites

How does it go? yer driven it ,its different to my old set up its not violent with the same power very different to have so much traction but it will break out once we turn it up,need to go back and get this tune sorted out a bit more tomorrow as its feels and smells a bit fat W Boost looks real stable, what boost control you use? its a greddy profec b 2 with a tail wastgate. AngryRB
ok so its 16 ish psi at 343kw on 98 petrol injectors are 850cc sard i now need a bigger fuel pump that graphs a bit hard to read,it starts of at about 4200rpm ( 110k's) looks very similar to my gtx3076 i must say.. bit laggier initially but stronger after the midrange Edited February 10, 2013 by AngryRBGTX Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172704-money-money-money/page/18/#findComment-6745201 Share on other sites
Lithium
Bare with me on this, I could be off but it nonetheless sticks out to me that if 110kph = 4200rpm then it looks like it is hitting 16psi at around 4300-4400rpm. That is miles off full boost at 3400rpm, and puts it more in typical GT3582R territory - which to be fair is more like what I would have expected. Have I missed something here? I am used to Dynapacks where they can do a proper rpm vs power curve and it's a bit easier to scrutinize this kind of thing. GTScotT
A friend of mine had his GTR tuned by DART at one stage and reckons the tune was also quite fat but he preferred the on road outcome to any other. The same GTR has been tuned by a few different shops chasing the right outcome. To my understanding the DART tune was the best even though it ran fat. scotty nm35
So are you planning to divulge the turbo specs yet Warlord? I was hoping it was the GTX3576... Good result anyway imo, hopefully there is more in it. GTScotT
Oh sorry I always get DART and Pulse confused LOL! I was aiming to give some reassurance in the rich side of things with a DART tune, but it turns out that was irrelevant lol. I have also had mates tune at pulse with nothing but positive feedback too, so I'm sure it will turn out great. Marko R1
I too vouch for DART Automotive when it comes to engine building. Nick - good to hear that Pulse Racing is taking care of you as there is nothing worse than putting the cart before the horse Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172704-money-money-money/page/18/#findComment-6746460 Share on other sites

A bit surprised paul left it like that Hopefully you have better luck the second time around. WARLORD
round 2 first dyno is what happens when the vct is turned on compared to be for when it was not !! the second is when the fuel pump looses voltage and the fuel pressure drops & when you tune with a vac leak/boost leak from the hose that went from plenum to Bov were it poped off to charcoal canister it must of popped of sometime on the dyno and not picked up.result once hose is put back on bad idle/stalling at times and possibly leaning out now. voltage problem now fixed with pump wired to battery with a relay and thicker wire. round 3 on this F$$$EN Tune Edited February 20, 2013 by WARLORD Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172704-money-money-money/page/18/#findComment-6758570 Share on other sites
