I know i should probably ask in the wtb section, but it's stagea specific i believe... so - where should i go to chase one? just ring nengun or is there a better proprietary item?

And just checking that i'm correct... stagea din guages (from the S2) show torque split, water temp and boost correct?

never mind - found some on nengun for about 500... so i'll wait and start saving for them maybe... meh.

feel free to delete it all - unless anyone knows of some second hand ones for sale somwehere that i have missed. Would i contact an importer for 2nd hand guages and see if they can get on to a wrecker in japan?

try e-bay never know what you will find on there?

also try the for sale section of this site under business traders and there are a couple of stageas being wrecked in there somewhere.

hope this helps

I have a set of series 2 stagea ones to go in my car, but have looked yet to see if the plug is there. My car is a series 2 already and is getting converted to a manual from auto.

Series 2 Stagea $100 plus freight and fees, normally pop up on yahoo about every 2 months, a bit rare

http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d75180869

pretty sure you will find if you don't have the gauges you wont have the senders either - which makes it expensive and difficult to convert....easier to buy seperate gauges.

need to see if goldzilla has had any luck too, because the stagea DIN seems to be a few mm too narrow which will make ti very hard to fit 3 gauges.

if you dont have the senders you may be better off to install a DEFI din gauge set, they have a different set of readings in them but they are super high quality only down side is they aint cheap either.

yeah 500 bucks min... what a rip...

i would love a torque split guage, Voltage and boost, but i don't recall seeing any extra senders dangling around behind the din pockets when i did the head unit ages ago.. perhaps a better solution would either be 3 different guages w/ no torque slpit guage, or get a carputer hooked up to consult :)

I have Din Guage from a GTR at home. I bought them on the hope that they would fit right in by plugging the senders into the back. If they are not there, that puts a bit of a dampener of things. I would love to know definatively though. Can any of the guys who have the full service manual do a bit of research?

I was attracted to the guages coz they are carbon fibre surrounds, which suits my Dayz with the Carbon Fibre Kit.

Would be interested to know what would be involved in fitting them.

no mate, no chance the gtr stuff will fit in, sorry but you've done your cash unless you get the senders as well. And you wont get them because the orginial owner will have kept them since they are part of the oil filter mount and they run the oil pressure warning light.

BTW I have a set of standard GTR gauges if anyone wants to buy them

My 260RS centre gauge pod got stolen so I thought an R33 GTR unit would do the job as the layout was the same:

<TORQUE> <OIL TEMP> <BOOST>

Weird part is my boost now reads through the front torque gauge & of course I actually need an oil press gauge not temp. Freaked me out first time I fired it up & the needle went to the top :laughing-smiley-014:

So anyway, R33 GTR unit will not work even in a 260RS, although I might try swapping the Boost & Torque around & see if that fixes that bit.

PS - anyone know where I can get a 260RS centre gauge pod :D

Hi All,

I've recently looking into these original din gauges as well.

Just go to your local Nissan dealer spare parts and they should hopefully have a nismo catalogue

which will have the listing on the original item, I'm currently waiting on an email with price/availablity

from Japan and hopefully some info on connectivity.

They had three listed in the catalogue, r32, r33 & m35, black and white face dials also.

It was all in Japanese, so we were'nt sure of the finer details, nor was there a picture of the rear of the

gauge, not 100% if mechanical/electrical connectivity.

The Nissan guy said when they order parts in, usually only a two week wait, no extra freight costs either.

p.s. I want one of those catalogues, it was like car porn all those nismo bits, but lotsa $$$$$ :P
