SKYWKR
hey people, jus wondering if any1 would hav sum advice for me. Ive got a '93 r33 skyline gtst. Wen ive gone to change gears, say from 1st to 2nd or 4th to 5th, the gears have crunched pretty bad. ive pretty much had to really force it into gear or i pulled over once and waited a couple of mins and it was fine again. Another time had to take off in 2nd cos i couldnt put it into 1st from nuetral. it doesnt do this evry time i drive it, its happened bout 3 times ova the past month or so. If anyone has any ideas or advice i would really appreciate it Cheers Steve Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/172929-gearbox-problems/ Share on other sites

Duncan
if your only problem is crunching synchros, redline shockproof oil in the gearbox can make a big difference. but the problem you describe putting from N to 1 sounds more like a problem with your clutch hydraulics, most probably slave cylinder or perhaps it all needs a good bleed?
