Hey folks, i need some opinions on concerning FMIC's.

My friend owns a Gts-t R32, and is in the market for a FMIC

we did some research into the Blitz LM series intercooler(600x300x76), and read some good reviews, and was going to buy it....

but we recently visited 'Fussys Motorsports' in Sydney to ask if this cooler was any good, and Tan the owner of the joint told us that it was cr*p!!..

he told us that it wasnt as good as the ones he has(australian made ones same size but thicker core)..

so now we're kinda lost, !dont know which FMIC to buy?!?!?

what do you guys recommend to get??

australian ones or japanese delivered??blitz, hks, trust,etc..

Blitz LM Intercooler kit $1800 fitted

Fussys intercoller kit $1800 fitted as well..

open opinionz plz!! thaNks.. :D

bahaha of course hes going to say that... he wants u to spend ur money on his inferior one :D

dude... companies like HKS and BLITZ and TRUST spend megga bucks developing and researching these things... i would go for something like what they have to offer rather than some guy whos hacked a truck intercooler to bits and slapped together some end tanks... yeah they might still be good but whos to say theyre better? can he prove it? has he done major testing to show how uch better his are? i doubt it

even something like a GTR cooler which has pretty much the same dimensions u mentioned if u can get ur hands on one will do the trick quite well.

That's what i was gonna say.:D

For sure anything japanese will have a better/higher overall quality then anything you can buy locally made.

Thats why my HKS type-s i/c is arriving in a few weeks:p

I paid $1595 for my 600x300x70 'cooler made by Mick's Metalcraft. They've done many of the Horsepower Heros cars at Summernats.

Ive been impressed with it so far (i havent wound any boost yet).

Install it yourself - you learn a tonne about ya car while doing it.

Unique Autosports sell them.... www.nismo.com.au

    • You'd want to cap off the re-entry back into the dump too. Just something flat that can be held on by the Vband.
