Just got this BOV from my bro who got it from Japan. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has any ideas where to fit this to replace the stock R32 GTR BOV which are under the drivers side front guard.

How do I plumb up the stock BOV config or need to?

cheers

unbolt the new bov from where it is connected to the pipe and then irase your car they are on the drivers side take the bov off see if that new one fits bolt on

get a flat piece of metel and cap the spare one off and you are done

The Trust Type R kit is designed to be fitted in the original location, using part of the original piping and mounts.

The pipe attached to the blow off valve in the photo you have provided indicates it was most likely fitted between the plenum and the guard.

More to the point, fitting it to your car is a complete waste of time, the stock GTR bov's are more than capable, even at high horsepower levels so unless you really need an atmo blow off valve to impress the chicks, save yourself the hassle.

I just wanted something different besides normal BOV. So how excatley do I fit it between the plenum and the guard. And where do all the other lines in go?

The pipe its current attached to looks like it would replace the existing rubber intercooler hose that runs from the plenum down to the guard.

If you aren't sure how to plumb it up, have a good workshop do it for you.

Yep, and its still on there :ninja:

Had I not sold my factory blow off valves years ago, I would have put them back on.

I got rid off my twin Blitz BOV's before I even fitted them. I prefer BOV-lessness.

1 goes to vacuum

2 goes to boost

3 can either return to turbo inlet or remain to atmo

4+5 go to cooler and plenum with silicon hoses

lol, I run twin blitz bovs. I have never met a chick yet who didn't want to perform sex acts with me after hearing my twin bovs talk to each other. true story.

mate if you want the mega BOV then by all means run it. you will need to block up or remove the stockies though. well you don't have too but I would think 3 BOVs may be a bit of overkill. :D or you could sell the one you have and buy the trust GTR kit which neatly replace the twin stockies, with the single trust you have.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
