Was thinking that the ride height is nice and low...i know i run mine higher and it looks gay for it. I am not fast so have to remember to look and sound it :D

I have another date with a Caterham, this time an R300 race car. I wonder if the magic has worn off or after driving it i am still going to be hungry for one?

It's not high at all...... it's loaded up in this picture, I'll grab a centre of wheel to gaurd height when I get home if you like fellas?

yeah it looks loaded, i think roy was saying his is high. If u could measure it up when you get time that would be great, clearly whatever you are doing is working :D

How the fark to I multi-quote?

I have played around with rear ride height in an attempt to balance the over/under-steer, and it has a fairly good balance now. Keep in mind that mine is still on standard bars etc, so if you have all that shit upgraded it's likely to be a different kettle of fish.

It'll be flat I reckon, wish I was in your position and booked in to find out mate! :)

Just need to get a POV 1.5 and will see if i can man up. It pains me that i didnt do Eau Rouge flat (though i did it with a lift on turn in)....going to take my skirt off and wear my wife beater this time. Flat or good footage of the OFF!

..AND Ben, i have four Whiteline sway bars you can pick up when you are in Melb. All adjustable, and different diams. Hell try them at PI if you like, or take them home and play with them. I have some new ARC ones so dont think i will be needing them. lol unless the ARC ones are a disaster

Now THAT is what I like to hear........ and if it spins, do not lift, it has to go "in" on the limiter.

TD06-25G in a twin charge setup with a Rotrex supercharger. Should be an interesting setup

Not really, have the 25G there for shits and giggles, if somehow some of the other mods help response (new manifold, inlet etc) But i also have the current TD06-20G, and a TD06L2-20G which i am getting rebuilt with a water cooled ball bearing centre)

Mmmm lot's of Trust goodness there hey? It will be interesting to see if the 6Boost manifold can bring them on boost a bit quicker, especially if you try the 25G out.

I'm fighting urges to get one of these:

It would lack some response, but man it would be fun :)

Yeah, T67 goodness :D

I've been doing a lot of reading on them and have seen a number of graphs on SR20's and they look like they could work really well, and I've always had a thing for Trust turbo's...

With my 272/11.5mm cams and extra capacity I think it'll suit the T67 better than the TD06 (except the 25G), in either 8cm or 10cm form (8cm would be wiser). The hit come 4500rpm would be monstrous me thinks :)

We all know that an rb30 conversion is where it's at! :)

Slap on a 550hp Garrett and you have 320+rwkw with better response than a std/factory rb25 setup ;)

I am tempted to take mine to the next Winton track day, whenever that is, have been giving some serious consideration :D

Below is an older power curve. My car now makes 330.6rwkw with even better response and more torque; as we have since adjusted the cam gears and done a retune

    • Thank you, 100% the intent. New coils were due and the 17" sixers look/feel loads better than the stock wheels. The aero options are so spot on.   Thanks for the warm welcome, all!
    • 98 r34 gtt Been rocking my latest setup and car running like never before. Have put a good 200 miles on it since all the latest changes and additions. everything is dialed in and have been driving it a bunch.   However, all a sudden last weekend as soon as I pushed throttle passed 4k and the engine stumbles, (slow or fast acceleration) hesitates and doesn’t go above 4100 or so, like a misfire. Everything else seems fine. I had a “good” set of coil packs that I removed from car when I first got it when I changed them over to new coils. I swapped out current ones for those, but no change. I also changed the plugs, no change. Seems to rev over 4 when out of gear with no load just fine no “misfire”, but as soon as its in gear with a load of any kind, it “misfires” as soon as rpm drop back below 4 k it runs perfectly, smooth, starts, restarts and drives fine as long as I keep it below 4 k while in gear. All readings look fine, no CEL   Any idea as to what could all a sudden cause an issue when pushing rpms passed 4 k?
    • When you say your cams are 272/262 is that 272in and 262ex?
    • We're arguing semantics. I am saying 45 accel and a 55 deccel ramp are "2 ways". Even a 45 degree ramp and an 89 degree ramp is "2 ways", because it is literally... two ways. The cusco 55/30 ramp is a 2 way. It's two ways. I get it though - in normal nomenclature a "2 way" would be 45/45 or 55/55 or 60/60 i.e the same locking in both directions. And something like 45/65 would be considered "1.5 way". I would then say if we're getting into the nitty gritty then every locking diff is a "2 way" diff and we should not speak in 1.5, or 2 ways but ramp angles instead. Which ofc if one of those ramp angles is 90deg, that side is not doing any locking. :p So Nismo don't obviously sell 3 things. The fact of the matter that they only sell two items really goes to show that there's a 2 way and a "1,5 way" which is really a 1 way. I believe the actual lockup for the 'adjustability' of the GT pro is really just setting preload for when the ramps actually start locking up. It's not changing how much 'wayness' there is. It is (somehow) horribly explained. People just buy whatever diff and go "locks up good bruh" and that's what ends up on socials forever.
