Was dying to see a murcielago today with the gorgeous weather and guess what I saw a damn sexy black one i parked behind it and took like 15 photos dammit if the owner was watching he would of thought i was gonna steal the thing :) Also saw this f40 on lygon street, sorry about the bad quality pic but litterally stopped all traffic to get this shot, I figured I may never see one again in the flesh.

Enjoy

ahh thankyou

i was like... i drove past it and was like... no way it cant be.. so i pulled over and sure enough !

made my eyes water a little

but you could buy an f50

you gotta be selected to get an enzo

Yeah but you would have had to have bought an F40 or F50 to be invited to buy the enzo!! :/

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enzo_Ferrari_(car)

The company sent invitations to existing customers, specifically, those who had previously bought the Ferrari F40 and Ferrari F50. All 349 cars were sold in this way before production began. Later, after numerous requests, Ferrari decided to build 50 more Enzos, bringing the total to 399.

Spotted today a 2007 Mercedes CL63 AMG (plates VCL630) down Springvale Rd all the way from Maroondah Hwy to Monash Fwy, never seen one of these in person before, they look sensational!

And driving next to that, a circa 1970-80 DeTomaso Pantera GT5, never seen one of these before either. Probably the toughest sounding car I've ever heard. Absolute head turner. Plates something like XXXGT-5.

EDIT: Looked exactly like this

Experienced this now too. I have honestly never heard something that 'lound'. :( Its like episode 1 of the latest top gear in the tunnels at full vol x3

R8 R-tronic arrived this evening. So cool! Only took it for a quick spin, but very fun and easy to throw around.

R-tronic shift is OK... SMG like in the M3/Smart Car as well as padles. Full auto in Sport mode is not for city driving. The 6-speed car is in Sydney so look forward to trying that out.

Certainly feels Audi more than Lambo, but you could live with this every day. Will pop some photos up tomorrow.

BTW - a light up engine bay is the new hotness.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
