355 spider at docklands yest

360 modena at century city today

damn punks and their flashy red cars - not as flashy as my yellow 1.3 ltr jazz though

Haha I reckon Lygon St after the Grand Prix each year is the best place to go. I never knew so many Ferraris even existed in Melbourne. It's great, eating pizza and ogling Fezzas, walking down Lygon eating Il Dolce Freddo ice-cream (mmmm) and ogling more Fezzas.

You sure there isn't a Porsche dealership somewhere and they were all test driving?

You should pop in here and say hi one day Adam.

Lots-o-Porsches all the time.

Today... 997 GT3, 996 GT3 CS, 996 TT, road-registered 996 Cup Car

I will certainly have to James.

I just fear that I will have a meltdown if I come in, some seriously nice weapons of choice there.

Speak to you soon mate.

Ada///M.

Nah - that's a 57.

And yeah, hideous.

If you're dropping over $800k on a land-yacht, why in hell would you look past a Phantom?

Especially since when you roll up at the bowls club in a Maybach, people just think your Merc has been badged.

Ah - the Evade!

Snowy and I had a good chat with the guy at the motorshow. How did it run? Back in March he'd never actually driven it in anger (which seems silly for a development car). I hope he has it a bit more sorted now.

Evade it is.

He wasn't driving it too hard. He didn't seem full of confidence, as it was his first time out and it's probably like riding an explosion.

Ran it all day without any issues. I guess if you crash it, it's not like you can buy another one on the Monday.

I asked him what a replacement would roughly cost. He reckons it's about $80k worth.

James, you should challenge him to a battle with your Atom!! Just grab the keys. No one would even know. :D

... For the record, his wife also has one. Somebody wanted just a shell built for an expo, but he said he'd end up with an un-driveable shell, so someone else threw him some running gear. it's not as angry as the one in the pics tho.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
