Hey guys, anyone know any good places to park in the city near Flagstaff gardens? I know that Vic Market has parking for $10 the whole day on Weds or something. Anyone know any other cheapy places? thanks guys!

very cheap

I park at QV when in the city. $12 I think.

10 bucks is soo cheep~!!!

I usually park at carpark building at William ST and Lt Lonsdale..

there early bird is $16...

but if u r not early bird QV also good place... coz there just $12....((but u have to spend over $1...))

theres a carpark in the city for $4 a day, but its behind the exhibition building.. bit too far for ya,

i say stick to the vic market... its close and like everyones said its really cheap for the city dude, especially cos its around the corner from your work

What's wrong with public transport? (what's right with it? :( )

I want to drive out when I finish work on Friday...Hate having to catch a train back to sunshine and then drive back to the city....

Does anyone know how much Crown charge these days??

I always get free parking there, so I have no idea.

I was trying to look it up on the website but it's been blocked on my work computer damn....hahahaa

sure is. spend atleast $1 and the whole days parking is $12

i work at sensis which is right ontop of QV carpark so i park there often and thats the cheapest around.

theres crown also which is $5 i think but then u have to catch a tram to where you wanna go and all so it gesta annoying. QV is more central.

i used to park at qv. but it is kinda decieving. to spend that dollar each day and try to find something you need that cheap is a pain. lol safeway gets overrun every day at 5 pm.

i know its quite far away but the jam factory has $7 all day parking. theres also a all day free park located somewhere in the proximity of the alfred but i have never found it. and hints?

there is a place in carlton near rmit just off lygon st where you can park for free all day.

that's where i used to park when i had long hours at uni

EDIT: where the feck is Flagstaff gardens? lol

umm, near flagstaff station?

right next to the courts. >_<

jam factory is a bit far... =/

Find any spot, wait till no one is looking, introduce your foot to the parking meter, Once it is buggered ring the number on the meter, tell em its buggered and your location, tell them u cant park anywhere else. they will withdraw any Fine imposed on your car. Happy days.

P.S. parking inspectors are scum of the earth.. i dont give a shit what anyone rekons.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
