As some of you will know I have been manufacturing GTS badges, but as I own a R34 GTT I thought I would turn my attention to those next. I will have a limited edition of 20 badges ready in the next week or so and if anyone is interested then the price of these badges will be $82 + $13 for international signed for air post from the UK.

Here are some pictures of the badge

As I say I do have a limited number of these so if you would like one please get in touch with me at [email protected]

Cheers

Hi, They may seem expensive, but this is simply due to the UK £ to AUS $ exchange rate. The badges are well worth the money though and when you have them you will see the quality, also another reason why they are more expensive is the fact that I cannot buy in the 1000s and therefore the cost is quite high.

Anyway I can accept cheques, but this takes time as the cheque has to arrive here in the UK and go through the banking process before they are sent out to you.

The GTT badges are ready to be shipped to me, but I may miss them as I am away on holiday with the family from this Friday for 2 weeks.

There have been several people who have contacted me and bought direct, hopefully 1 of them can post up a picture for you.

If you would like a badge (discount for 2, $79 +$13 P&P) please send a mail to [email protected]

Cheers

  • 2 weeks later...

Well I have just returned from holiday in Menorca and waiting for me was a package of 20 brand new shiny GTT badges, the cost has changed also, so for 1 badge $ 79, for 2 $ 77 each, for 3 badges $ 75 each. All these prices are PLUS P&P @ $ 13. If anyone would like more then I will have to quote on the quantity individually as the cost of costage jumps due to the weight of the package.

As I say I had a package of 20 delivered, I currently have 18 left as 2 from this forum have been bought. Please send me an email to [email protected] or PM me and I will get back to you asap.

Thanks

Andy

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
