Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there are any rear diffuser's available for R33 GTST's? I can't seem to find any.

Found a lot for s2000's though.

JSAI was advertising these awhile back, here's the link

top secret rear diffuser

Thanks heaps dude :(

I remember that thread. Totally forgot about it.

If only he had pictures of what it actually looked like installed on a 33 with a stock rear bar. As is, I couldn't purchase one from there :). The pics that he has up don't really show the shape of the thing either. Disappointing.

Awesome.

Methinks there's an open market for something like this just waiting to be tapped.

But, I wish I had my car with me atm so I could take some more pics and draw it up properly...I'll see if I can do anything with the shots I have. (I never really took many shots of the bum)

Not really a fan of that style.

My mate had one on his GTST. It was made for a GTR, but actually fitted nicely on the GTST. He has since sold the car, without the diffuser, and is about to fit the same diffuser on his GTR.

I think it looks awesome, and it worked toooo well. He is trying to find a matching diffuser for the front. On the GTST, the car looked like the rear suspension had blown, due to the down force created by the diffuser, when he was hammering down the straights. It's made from pure c/f and i think it cost him about $1000 s/h.

Below are a few pics i took of the diffuser, the last one is a stitch of 4 pics, as i didn't take a pic from far back. Pics were taken as proof of condition, before car was loaded on a truck to be freighted across Australia, when he moved from Melb to Perth.

I'm setting one up using a Trial rear bumper for my race car. It is one piece and extends well under the car.

As for these doing nothing, well, I'm glad now I wasted so many years on engineering and fluid dynamics........

Well, if you've done your homework and put the thing through a wind tunnel etc, then it'll do something. TBH, I would be surprised if the generic ones that I'm looking at actually do anything. I mean, maybe around turn 1 at EC I'd notice a tiny difference. But other than that I doubt the ones I'm looking at would do little if anything at all.

That's a nice look. All fitted.

I think I prefer the "stuck on" aftermarket look of the Top Secret diffuser though.
