Since the next meet is April 20th. Could you do us all a favor. Since you've been in it now and pay'd for it. Could you place the prices down for us boys. We're all hearing diffrent prices and you've been in it.

So price for Superstreet class? $149 ANDRA year

Price for Street class? $80 ANDRA year

And do we have to get a ANDRA licence? Yes but a $20 day licence is fine

Like wise for the CADRA Licence? Yes it covers insurance, track hire, power & water, parking in pits for your car & pit crew etc

Ah.. How much does it then cost for each meeting? $75 Street & $125 Super Street (includes free entry for 3 pit crew)

What do you need to race? Helmet, overalls or long sleeves & pants, shoes, 1/2 tank of fuel, shade, seat & water (for waiting around)

Whats the go with the $25 membership? is optional but supports the club & only members are eligible for trophys or championship points

Anything else i've missed please put it in. Sorry about the Questions but it be good to hear it from you since you've competed.

These prices are comparable to other tracks I have visited around the country. I have found it is alot more fun being in the pits with your mates(pit crew) than being a spectator. There always was something to see or do and you also get to see behind the scenes during the event. We had 2 3x3metre shade tents we brought for the cars and crew which made things very comfortable. We had 8-10 mates in our area with 3-4 support cars and had visits from family & friends during the day. They all thought it was great.

Yeah i know its in a saftey environment and all that jazz but still.. Is a bit steep tho. Specially when the track aint even complete or anything as they were saying before. But i guess better then racing a dodgey blathaskite run :D

If a meet is on a saturday and sunday, does that $125 cover both days? Or for street class the $75.

I would have spent $75-125 on piss some nights, so it doesnt seem that bad to me for 2 days racing.

:)

If you bought 4 pit passes as spectators it would cost 4 x $15 for entry, while you get these included in the drivers $75-125 entry fee.

I got approx 15 1/4 passes over the weekend, but I would think there would be more next time with less competiton cars there.

Go the T51R!

My oil cooler arrived finally! Went to go look at prices for oil.. Man, Motul 300V is 100$ per 4lts :thanks: I now take 5.5tlrs...

I'll just use Motul Turbo light. Only $57 per 5lts.. Kittles charge $150 flat, i rekon using good oils and parts i can still come out with change.

But... oil cooler aint going on for another 3000k's. I dont want to buy oil now, use 3,000k's and then buy more again. Or should i?... Next service is due in 3000ks. The i can finally hook my gauges up aswell.

My excitment for the day in this town..

If your organising a cruise, do it soon as its getting colder by the day :D

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
