me and heslo had a brief run in a little later in the night.

well, i did, lol, luke thankfully had the opportunity to bail and took it.

i got let off free though, cop took down all my details, asked a few basic questions, then jetted off to assist another cop at a drunk stop.

as he was getting back in his car he looked over and added in a rather light hearted i-know-exactly-what-youre-doing voice "behave yourselves eh."

Scandy - following on from our conversation at dinner tonight why did you pick that particular chick for your avatar? Don't get me wrong - she's gorgeous and I guess most of the photos from that site wouldn't be approved on SAU, but you've had her smiling at us for a while now. If you can post others... well... post away.

PS - I'm glad that Heslo & yourself avoided the yellow stickers tonight. 1 defect a night should be a limit for SAU-SA.

is this them

Pressure; CS6004W

Temp; CS6003W

not entirely sure eh, the site i was gonna use to reference them is showing 'out of stock' on everything and no longer listing p/n's.

haha, i dunno, i quite like this one, reminds me a lot of an ex. long story. but yeah, might be time for a change of avatar. ill see what i can dig up.

im rather stoked about skipping the canary also. glad it was me that got pulled over instead of luke though, the 200 would be a piece of cake to get through, lukes would be fairly difficult.

Well I just got defected. Done for cage, suspension, steering wheel. First defect on the car ever. Off to regency I go :D

take it you've got adjustable suspension and a wheel less than 350mm in diameter?

good excuse for you to get that cage engineered

-D

Luke man really sad to hear man, i guess you should be happy with how long you got away with it haha.

I got my headlight out to get some moisture and water out that had gotten into the headlight and it turns out the water has now eated away all the chrome inside the headlight and where the headlight seal had been broken is on the side of impact when they lady kindley reversed into me in traffic having already had the guard replaced and painted by her insurance and a brand new indicator on its way from Japan, I'm going to be putting this headlight back in and taking it to Aami and show them that the evaluater (sp) has missed something and they will be getting it fixed, which is good they said when I first went in if I have any dramas with the repairs etc all repairs are under warrenty. Good oh

Damn, sorry to hear Lukey. But as has been mentioned, you've been so luck to get away with it for so long. :( Be a good opportunity to do that engineering for it now. Would love to see it complete soon

And good-o for Craig and Heslo's luck.

Anyone know how much work is involved in removing a r33 rear bar? I've had a look from the bottom but can't clearly see any bolts, I'm guessing that maybe the rear pods, garnish etc comes off and there might be some mount points under all that?

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
