I question it for only 2 reasons

1. if it was rwkw then i can understand, 300awkw is a solid 330+rwkw

2. 300awkw on 15psi with low mounts is very hard to believe

but hey good luck to you, take it down the quarter and then we will see for sure

i dont see why its so funny?

15psi on a gt40 is different to 15psi on standard compressor wheel

if he has upgraded twins then why is it so funny (or insanely impossible) that he is making 300awkw at that pressure?

all the pressure does is dictate compressor wheel speed which dials in the desired airflow based on the compressor map

true, but if they're std turbos, there's no way at 15psi it will make 300awkw.

if they're larger (say 2530s) on std capacity, even at 15psi it will not make 300awkw - plus you should be able to tell that it's non standard.

so what I'm saying is i reckon it's a happy dyno :)

yeah standard turbos will not make 300kw at 15psi, i dont think anyone has said that here.

2530s at 15psi will make well over 300kw i would expect, gt-ss make just on 300kw

maybe the dyno was done in 3rd gear, maybe its got tons of correction, maybe its a legit figure

yeah but you'd be aware of the increased lag if you had 2530s... and ALOT more power than standard.

no u wouldnt... if it was the only GTR u had been in or owned and it was done before u bought it then why would u be aware of it?

well i havent been in another GTR but bry has.. he said back then that mine was much much quicker than his mates GTR which was "stock"... now i dont know about u guys.. but it is laggy.. this isnt the first turbo car ive had.. infact.. this is among the slowest turbo cars ive owned..

This is a laggy GTR.. most ppl say that the stockers will be on full song by 3500... well by 3500 ive only got 8psi... it doesnt hit full boost till 4.5k.. u can see that on the results as well.. just over 4.5k and its hit its 15psi.

This isnt a stock car.. thats what ive been tryin to say all along.. it was MEANT to be stock, but it clearly isnt and as far as i can tell.. the only mods visible r, computer + boost + exhaust.. now mods that r for sure done.. turbos atleast.

If it was a happy dyno.. then my mates evo 8 mr which is runnin 23psi and a full turbo back exhaust doesnt make 210kw either.... if i do indeed have stock turbos then the dyno is out by atleast 50-60kw so id be seeing a more realistic figure of 220-230kw... which means my mates evo 8 makes what... 140-150kw?? i think not. a stock evo makes closer to 180 and a modified one with boost makes over 200 easy as piss

dyno might be out 10-15kw.. might.. but that still leaves me with modified turbos

stock is 19 peak and falls off to 16 from memory...so 23 doesnt seem over the top.

yeah evo's love the boost. a TME we slapped togethher that will be featured in Zoom soon and the fckr makes a solid 317awkw at 1.3bar on a std bottom end with a smal td06l2-20g... try that on a sr or rb and you will be picking up pieces :P

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
