Does anyone know of car loan that supports imports and if not a personal loan that isnt to extreme on interest rate and that they have used before?

I didnt find any banks to do a secured, low intrest rate 'import' car loan

If you wanna go for a loan you will prolly end up with like 11-13% intrest rates... just make sure u can pay off as much extra you can per year (if its limited) and it wont be so bad.

Yea, I couldn't find a secured loan either. I paid 11.95% interest. Its annoying, but if you pay it off as quick as possible, then its ok. I had half the value of my car saved first, so that helped.

I got mine with united credit union, dunno how much the rate is though but can find out if you want...

The big banks won't give finance for imports as they feel they are at high risk. So you'll have to go to the smaller institutions. The ones that i have are around the 11% which isnt bad.

I got my loan through my bank (westpac) not sure on the interest rate. . . cant really remember.

got mine thru westpac as well, interest around 11-12 percent but as mentioned above paying it off quicker doesnt mean a penalty etc. always handy.

they wouldnt accept my import as security but i couldnt get it insured either (DUI x 2) so no big deal

i'll be taking one out in the next month once my car gets here, i remeber bankwest gave a good rate.

im with commonwealth and their personal variable loan interest atm is 13.45% but i can pay heeps off or end it early with no costs. but it still sucks every month i pay so much interest.

I got mine unsecured through St George for a reasonable rate and I could pay off up to 5k extra a year without penalties. Paid it off in a year though and wasn't stung too badly.

Got mine 11.25% with united credit union, variable rate so it's gone up a couple of times but I think it's still under 12%

dont quote me but i think savings and loans do a pretty good deal.. and they were guna pre approve me on a loan for rex...... not the same thing but mite be worth looking into.

Just got another loan through the national as they were one of the few that will finance casual people. Interest is 13.22 % for a 18 grand unsecured loan, and with me being casual. But i do work full time just classed as a casual, but it does help to have good imcome too and ive got that
