was neone on here parked at the corner of rafting ground road and moggil road in brookfield this arvo around 5ish, if so really nice 33, nizmo 400r front bar and carbon bonnet, looked really nice.

I saw a white 33 with 400R front bar and carbon fibre bonnet on the big roundabout around the Ford dealership on Moggil Rd at about 12:30pm. Very nice, wanted to get a closer look at that bonnet. Anyone from here own that.

There's a White S2 33 GTT parked behind me at the Novotel Today... belong to anyone here? has a 33 GTR rear wing, and 17" IndyR rims...

Damn your car's low :D I though mine was dropped as far as it would go, but it's interesting to see the two cars next to each other.

Also I parked next to a wine red 32 GTT out at redcliffe yesterday about lunch time. anyone?

Yeah, that was me... Is yours the black one with the stealth rear spoiler? If so i've seen you round that area a few times. Nice car - love the black lines... :)

And that was me too... ;)

I remember seeing you. Gave you a wave as you went past. I'm always out and about in the Indro - Kenmore area so say hi if you see me. Just got a new computer, boost control and fmic so car is running pretty well!

A couple of weeks ago I saw an R34 GTR driving along Moggill Rd in Kenmore late at night... Beautiful car, not sure of the colour as it was dark but think it was red (maybe?). Definitely a GTR though as it had the pumped out guards. Anyone seen it around?

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
