Im no HeKitC KrNt but on a serious not. Apart from f**king you turbo in the long run, its there a down side to this. A few of my friends who was set their cars up for drift have blocked up their BOV's. I never thought to ask them why...Is there any particular reason for this?

omfg you want some dose uleh?

You'll be a fully sick hectic bro, and all the women will get instantly wet when they hear the tuutuuutuuutuuut and dive in your windows just because they think its all fully sic bro uleh bling.

Then all you need to do is have a big mofo rocket switch, so that you can rig up some fully sic atmospheric blow off valves, so when you had enough of the fully sic tuutuuutuuutuuutuuutuutuuutut you can make it go WHOOOOSH. (cough, stall, omg uleh, etc)

The atmospheric BOV will be even more fully sic, and you'll need to fit bigger windows because there will be more womenz getting fully sic and wet and trying to dive into your car.

Then wehn you have too many women, you can turn it back to some fully sick dose.

apparantly blocking off the bov will give u less lag, thats the only advantage i believe

im horrible at explaining things but thats a load of poop. if anything, blocking your recirc valve or not running one, will slow the turbo down at a much faster rate. although its been proven that you can 'boost spike' it for a second apon an extremely fast gear change. Basically you have to be quick enough to change gears before the already built up boost pressure escapes through your filter, if you can do that and open your TB back up in time, its more inclined to throw the boost through your intake rather than out through the turbo because the blades are already spinning that way, and its the easiest direction for the air to flow. So say your usual 10psi of boost, supposively you may spike it to 13psi for a split second after your gear change. ive read about various WRC cars using this technique.

I think this is where people get the misconception about it cutting a bit of lag.

anyway, i told you im horrible at explaining things but i hope that makes atleast a little sence. :P

just thought a little more in to that, and i missed the obvious. What i explained, IF you can change gears fast enough, it WILL cut back on the lag. im not thinking straight tonight. sorry mark.

atleast i was able to explain the theory a little :P

Curious to know for it to flutter, Do you just block the plump back pipe? or do you completely remove the bov and block everything? as a friend asked and I couldn't give him a proper answer because I have no clue, A apexi pod filter is plenty of whoosh for me :P

Bro..................i put my skyline on it, it will annoy the crap out of you with in a month

and you would wanna take it off.......................

Lol btw...........im leb and i hate that sound. uleh

lol

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
