I dont even get what this thread is about.....

It doesnt take a genius to figure out what "when, where and how much?" would mean? I cant believe you actually need me to explain the title.

is he asking if there are any time attacks within 100km of sydney?? :S

Yes

as in sprints or hillclimbs

That would be great too, but i was thinking more circuit time attacks like oran park, wakefield or eastern creek. I was just wondering if there are any events coming up that the public can participate in.

on crack much?

No, can you speak english? "On crack much" doesn't make sense.

yeah....the m2-m7 time attack...

Haha, very funny.

harbour tunnel time attack

redhot

You and lingeringsoul should date each other.

So why not just ask that? I usually find if you take the time to articulate what you do know (or what you suspect to be the case) then properly phrase your question you'll get fewer spankers taking the piss out of your post.

Try the kindly folk at SAU NSW as there are a number of them who participate in track days and sprints/time attacks (The latter is just the Japanese term for the former. It is mostly used by 16 year olds & may explain the nonsense in this thread).

Beyond that have a look at the websites belonging to the circuits - specifically their calenders & try some of the larger performance shops who run track days..

Time attack...curse those BMI DVDs for having all new comers calling circuit sprints "Time attacks" :)

Look up the ARDC/Eastern Creek Calender for their next Friday L2S practice day and go have a blast. You will need a CAMS L2S licence which means you will have to join SAU-NSW to get the licence (Other clubs can do it, but you do own a Skyline  )

Oran Park is not so easy to get on , but soon you will have your L2S licence which means you can attend any number of multi car club sprints at Oran Park. So look up various clubs websites and look at their calenders.

Next, there is Wakefield, they have plenty of open days you can attend, just look at their website for their calender.

AND, you would have been able to work all this out if you had of just looked at the website of any of the circuits you mentioned

Ahh, so its called circuit sprint in Oz, i did look on the track sites but i just couldn't find time attack or time trial.. bugger me. Thanks for that. HAHA BMI, yeah those damn dvd's got me really hyped up... especially anything that had the mine's gt-r in it... *dreams of owning that car*

I absolutely cant wait to get my hands on a cams license... soon, very soon.

I thought he was referring to Volk Racing Time Attack rims at first.

So yeah, say what you mean. We're not mind readers.

Oh, and just go do Wakefield. Easiest track to get onto in NSW (although it is 200km from Sydney), in terms of availability and licensing.

Fark. You keep starting dumb threads (re: I want a quiet exhaust should I buy a stagea will cops pull me over in a stagea) and wonder why you get flamed.

Also I doubt you will get a CAMS license "soon..very soon".

Now to your 'question' go attend a Wakefield track day...factor in costs for new brake fluid, possibly brake pads, maybe need to machine discs, oil change, helmet. A couple of laps at a track will rape your car so make sure it is properly maintained/prepared.

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
