-_-StRyDeR-_-
lol what a waste of a thread... people will only pay what they are willing to pay. around the brisbane area there is way more 33's so around here the price on 32's is a little higher. theres ooodles of both getting sold though, so its up to the buyer to deicde on the "thats to dear" or "thats a bargin" Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/194433-r32-gtst-owners/page/8/#findComment-3489803 Share on other sites

I see your pain... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/br...32-t182856.html hey.. not my fault you paid too much for a nugget. but it's ok.. you can sleep well knowing that you got a car with a boat anchor for a motor Make sure you keep those revs over 4K mate.. you don't want to find your self in the Subaru Twin turbo style Valley Of Death Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/194433-r32-gtst-owners/page/8/#findComment-3489884 Share on other sites
R32_GODZILLA
The R32's seem to be holding their value the past few years - So hard to find a clean example now so i went along with the importing route and scored a clean example for 12k which i thought was a reasonable price. Re-itterating on a lot of points here, the P-Plate restrictions, lack of clean examples, baseline value are playing a huge part in the prices and there's nothing you can do about it. If you really like the car, you would fork out the money for the price being offered. Everyone has their own opinion, it's just that hardly anyone can present a mature point - sound like a bunch of school kids fighting over what match box car is better than the other. Get over it - reading this shit puts me off visiting SAU. Ruffels
hmm well personally i wouldnt pay $600,000 for a 30+ year old ford... but people do! it comes down to what people want, and supply and demand! ...if no one wanted them, people would be struggling to sell them, so people would be asking less for them! Simple You're comparing an R32 GTST to a GTHO? Here's another way to look at it. Cheapest R32 GTST I've probably seen was about $6K. a shitty, faded, 89 model with oil leaks etc etc.. what youd expect for that money right. cheapst R32 GTR I've seen was $13K. same condition. Both same year $7K apart. new car price for both? $40K for GTST?? $100K for GTR? It's only the R32 GTST owners that seem to be confused about the value of their cars (mexicans I can understand due to P Plate restrictions) $12K for a clean undamaged, smoke free R32 GTST is a fair price in my eyes. people asking $16K for this sort of thing are Dreamers and only a SUCKER would buy at that price. GTAAAH
lol @ matchbox styles Also lol @ rb20 = boat anchor, that means they should be in the 33 because they're a boat Actually i would probably get a S2 33 over a non-type M 32 (with the nice front bar) Edited November 22, 2007 by GTAAAH Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/194433-r32-gtst-owners/page/8/#findComment-3490152 Share on other sites

timheather
I reckon, that in the long run, better looking cars hold their value better. Now an rb20 is pretty easily replaced with a 25, but try and make a pig ugly 33 look like a 32..... sorry guys, but everyone know 32s are a way better looking car than 33s.....
