hey guys how are yas?

well im 90% sure of buying a car in VIC..Its an R32 GTS4..just gotta go and check the engine and what not.

the only problem is getting it back to SA as thats where i live.

I thought about driving it back but cbf lol

so i have to freight it over.

So i got some prices from 2 companies one is BHF Transport and the other is AutoTrans

BHF quoted me $974 and AutoTrans quoted $418

obviously id go for AutoTrans as they are much cheaper but i was wondering if this was a fair price. (both companies included GST and fuel levy in their prices.)

Also does anyone know of any good car freight companies out there?

cheers vinnie

Hey mate,

I brought my R34 from NSW and got it shipped to Vic for $330, the company was SMB (sydney Melbourne Brisbane) great service, car arrived as in the same condition before it left. Hope that helps. Cheers

i had one from sydney to brisbane - 900 with autotrans, very good service

my skyline from vic to brisbane - 940 with patrick autocare, they smashed my car up with 1400 dollars damage and i had to pay another 150 excess and had to tow it to get quotes at my expense. they suck.

use auto trans even if there abit more expensive. the 50 bux i saved using another company cost me 400 instead

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
