Adz2332
Ok now have i missed something....? Where was i when it was decided that rims and tyres that stick way out side the gaurd was cool and a good thing??? Apart from the obvious, massive rubbing over bumps, defectable etc etc it looks stupid. (thats just in my opionion of course) Who started this trend and why would you do it for! what do you guys and girls think?? end rant! adam-__-
I don't see anything wrong with it. With the Stagea above, I wouldn't want anything more 'sunkin' in. For me, I want the wheels to be even with the guards, anything less is in my opinion. I don't mind the wheels going outside of the guards on some cars. On skylines, I prefer the wheels to be flush with the rolled guards and on silvias I like the wheels sticking out at least an inch from the standard guards, but then I would flare them out. It really depends on what car it is. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197448-have-i-missed-a-meeting-or-something/#findComment-3530057 Share on other sites

Dingus
If it sticks out, it needs flares to make it even again. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197448-have-i-missed-a-meeting-or-something/#findComment-3530508 Share on other sites

If you're talking about not flaring and just making the wheels stick out 2", I find that stupid as well. R32 project
i think the wheels sitting slightly out of the gaurds looks f**kING GOOD, but to pull it off you need stretched tyres to keep the treads under the gaurd itself, and maybe some slight flaring too It gives the car a wider, meaner, tougher stance IMO....also means you can have wider wheels Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/197448-have-i-missed-a-meeting-or-something/#findComment-3531839 Share on other sites
