Today 31/12/07 as I was heading home through WICKHAM ST, I was the first car sitting

at the intersection of WICKHAM ST and ADELAIDE ST in the second lane (middle) and

there was a white Mitsubishi 380 (406JIA) on the third lane (right), as the light turns green

I started moving and this 380 thinks his lane was the second lane and started merge towards

me so I quickly speed up to avoid him from hitting me, after this incident this person gave

me a finger as I look back into my rear view mirror so I thought WTF… anyway I keep on

moving as I slow down to the next set of lights he was sitting next to me again, this time,

he started giving me the finger and yelling abuse to me and my mum I ignored him so he

started his next stage of rage and started bringing his fist up (the punching motion) at that

point in time I just said “you were in the wrong lane buddy” so he decided he was top shit and

he have to prove his manhood in-front of his wife and two kids he jump out of the car and said

“learn how to f**king drive, you f**king Asian, have the balls to come out n fight me, lets settle

this you f**king Asian” I replied “hey buddy, you were in the wrong lane” after I said the sentence

he walked to my side and said “come on have the balls to settle it now” as I looked at him he walk

back to his car and cut me of AGAIN to my lane and gave me more of his finger. After about

1000metres he stopped so I stopped to see what he wanted to say in-front of me, so he decided

this time he would abuse my mum and said “you f**king Asian can’t f**king drive, why don’t you

go back to your f**king own country, you f**king Asian, have the balls and come out and fight me

you f**king fat boy” at this point in time I got pissed off that he started abusing my mum so I said

“the police station is right in-front of us why don’t we settle it in there” (police station is about 4 car

length in-front of us) he replied back “I’m gonna f**king kill you f**king Asian learn how to f**king

drive, f**king Asian” right now I had enough so I called the police and said someone is threatening

me to kill me, the operator said there is not much they can do except to go into a police station and

request a formal complain which I did, so now all I can do now is wait till they have a word with him.

I hope you all will have a great New Years Eve celebration and a happy New Year just becareful of 406JIA.

thats crap hey, "help someones threatening me and my muther", "ok sir if you'd like to make a formal complaint in writting please go to your nearest police station." Great help they were, especially since its not even like the police had far to go to help you out. From my past police help i can assure you nothing will happen from that complaint you made. In saying that if you took matters into your own hands you would of been punished more than he would.

With my mum in the car i don't think i can do anything stupid or rackless. lol

I'm slowly letting this incident go, its not so much the fact that he abuse me but the fact that he abuse my mum and been a racist, I'm pretty sure that I'm as much as an aussies as he is if not more.

Thats pretty well handled dude. Didn't give him what he was after which was a reaction. I guess the biggest issue here is (other than the cops and their lack of staff...) is the guy already has kids, so its too late to stop the evolution of his redneckedboganess.

And if you think you are Australian, as far as I'm concerned you are.

Good one for keeping calm, its just not worth it, people are getting killed for road rage these days.

I cant believe some people on the roads today.

One time When i had my 33 sedan i had just pulled out of work and i had to go slow miss bottoming out on a road work hump in the road so i went slower, anyway a guy in a 4wd behind went off at me abusing me because i went slow ( i didnt just pull out in front of him there was heaps of time) and then as i looked in my drivers mirror he throw something at the car which hit it and made a decent bang , i couldnt stop because traffic lights had were green so i continued up the road where it went two lanes and he came up beside me abusing me carrying on and i was pissed that this guy throu something and hit the car.Get down the road to roundabout and he thrown more shit at the car which missed, then he pulls over and gets out his car and goes lets go you f**kn c*nt.

i drove passed him got his rego number and details. When i got home there was a ding in my bootlid 20cent piece size, now i was pissed.

Went to cops the next day and reported it ,never heard anyrthing back... that was 10 months ago.

So much for police doing there job, they are there when you dont want them to be but when you need them they do jack shit.

Wow, what a psycho

Quite a few roads in Brisbane either don't line up at intersections or merge unexpectedly so I can understand how he might have thought he'd done nothing wrong, it certainly doesn't excuse his obhorrent behaviour, and the repeated racist slurs, particularly to/in front of your mother!!

It's the same mentality that the Soccer Mums have when they cut you off then abuse you for "endangering the lives of their children" lol

The cops are hopeless, understaffed, underpaid and do to much paperwork to give a shit these days.

So if this guy did decide to kill you, would you still have to get your self to the closest police station before he catches you.

What a joke.

I dont know whats going on these days.

People are getting more retarded each day. And so much for customer service ( not only police, but businesses aswell)

F$%king pathetic

Next time police say they require you to go to the station and make a formal complaint, Just say " dont worry then, i shot the prick.

Driving this morning on the way home, lost count of the amount of wankers there were. It was either too slow, sitting in the right lane and not moving over.

people trying to merge in your lane while your beside them.

Wheres the concentration, no ones using there head.

MRR34 - That guy that abused you should of been tested for drugs, or been required to get a medical certificate. Cause one things for sure, sounds like he is the one that cant drive.

+1 bazr33.

the key is to stay calm, and give no reaction.

but when it gets really serious there is little option left.

considering that the driver may follow, abuse, and recklessly endanger your/passenger lives.

it would be far safer to TAKE HIM out before it escalates. call it a 'citizens arrest'

or if he is HUGE. explain what just happened, get both sides and figure out who was wrong.

the bloke was probably scared for his family, EVEN THOUGH HE FARKED UP.

and...even if he hits u, its ok=assault, = fine and possible jail time

-hope he uses soap on a rope!

    • Wheel alignment immediately. Not "when I get around to it". And further to what Duncan said - you cannot just put camber arms on and shorten them. You will introduce bump steer far in excess of what the car had with stock arms. You need adjustable tension arms and they need to be shortened also. The simplest approach is to shorten them the same % as the stock ones. This will not be correct or optimal, but it will be better than any other guess. The correct way to set the lengths of both arms is to use a properly built/set up bump steer gauge and trial and error the adjustments until you hit the camber you need and want and have minimum bump steer in the range of motion that the wheel is expected to travel. And what Duncan said about toe is also very true. And you cannot change the camber arm without also affecting toe. So when you have adjustable arms on the back of a Skyline, the car either needs to go to a talented wheel aligner (not your local tyre shop dropout), or you need to be able to do this stuff yourself at home. Guess which approach I have taken? I have built my own gear for camber, toe and bump steer measurement and I do all this on the flattest bit of concrete I have, with some shims under the tyres on one side to level the car.
    • Thought I would get some advice from others on this situation.    Relevant info: R33 GTS25t Link G4x ECU Walbro 255LPH w/ OEM FP Relay (No relay mod) Scenario: I accidentally messed up my old AVS S5 (rev.1) at the start of the year and the cars been immobilised. Also the siren BBU has completely failed; so I decided to upgrade it.  I got a newer AVS S5 (rev.2?) installed on Friday. The guy removed the old one and its immobilisers. Tried to start it; the car cranks but doesnt start.  The new one was installed and all the alarm functions seem to be working as they should; still wouldn't start Went to bed; got up on Friday morning and decided to have a look into the no start problem. Found the car completely dead.  Charged the battery; plugged it back in and found the brake lights were stuck on.  Unplugging the brake pedal switch the lights turn off. Plug it back in and theyre stuck on again. I tested the switch (continuity test and resistance); all looks good (0-1kohm).  On talking to AVS; found its because of the rubber stopper on the brake pedal; sure enough the middle of it is missing so have ordered a new one. One of those wear items; which was confusing what was going on However when I try unplugging the STOP Light fuses (under the dash and under the hood) the brake light still stays on. Should those fuses not cut the brake light circuit?  I then checked the ECU; FP Speed Error.  Testing the pump again; I can hear the relay clicking every time I switch it to ON. I unplugged the pump and put the multimeter across the plug. No continuity; im seeing 0.6V (ECU signal?) and when it switches the relay I think its like 20mA or 200mA). Not seeing 12.4V / 7-9A. As far as I know; the Fuel Pump was wired through one of the immobiliser relays on the old alarm.  He pulled some thick gauged harness out with the old alarm wiring; which looks to me like it was to bridge connections into the immobilisers? Before it got immobilised it was running just fine.  Im at a loss to why the FP is getting no voltage; I thought maybe the FP was faulty (even though I havent even done 50km on the new pump) but no voltage at the harness plug.  Questions: Could it be he didnt reconnect the fuel pump when testing it after the old alarm removal (before installing the new alarm)?  Is this a case of bridging to the brake lights instead of the fuel pump circuit? It's a bit beyond me as I dont do a lot with electrical; so have tried my best to diagnose what I think seems to make sense.  Seeking advice if theres for sure an issue with the alarm install to get him back here; or if I do infact, need an auto electrician to diagnose it.
    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
