I did have a wardrobe malfunction during an ass to ground movement lastnight...I'd like to think the sheer awesomeness of my hams and glutes cannot be contained by mere shorts. The reality is closer to...squatting in 10 year old board shorts is not a good idea.

lol cheers guys

yeah mid 70s is prob a good weight just gotta lose some fat, clean up diet a bit (and really need to stop my drinking on the weekends..)

and yeah the 90 was a max set not for reps unfortunately, i'll get there though!

Birds squats, squats so much he rips shorts :P

wouldnt even worry about weight as a figure. clothes size and mirror is a better guage.

you know what you have to do then.

This...

Weight figure...as far as aesthetic goals go...is only really useful for monitoring diet once you've reached your goals and are very familiar with your normal weight fluctuations. Other than that, an honest look in the mirror is the best tool.

Is it weird that you'd rather work out/train rather than going out on the piss?

Nope, both are addictive and both will get you ladies...but only one will guarantee she'll be good looking the next morning :P

yep, as long as your strength is increasing and weight is staying same/decreasing youre doing something right.

For those that take pre-workouts, have you found that you are more susceptible to muscular injuries or even twinges, particularly when making quick movements ie sudden changes of direction or sprinting etc??

Not preworkouts fault. It's called getting old. Even young people get hurt when making sudden changes or direction when moving fast. The older you get , the more the joints and ligaments complain about it.

If you get a twinge or an injury just drink beer afterwards, although I heard that breakthroughs in research have found that squats are the best cure.

I only have been training for a bit but I just love it, doesn't matter how tired I get, how my body doesn't want to move/punch/kick but damn it's so hard to explain.

Your body doesn't want to punch or kick or move?

Show it who's boss.... and squat.......

...........like a boss.

I should of put more clearly after a few sessions on the thai pads and leg kicks i'm exhausted and my body doesn't want to move my mind still wants to keep going.

I'm not sure about that lol yes definitely getting old and that doesnt help, but have taken pre-workout 4 times when playing cricket and 3 times resulted in strained hamstring, all when really making quick movements. Have played since I was 10 and has never happened any other time, only when I took the pre-workout. So dont take it anymore for cricket.

Well, they are a pre workout after all.

    • The SS button head cap screw on the back? If so, good to know. I presumed it was there for basic assembly and nothing more.
    • Hello, everyone. I'm new to the forum. I have a 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR. I have lost all power to the interior, including AC controls, the gauge cluster, turn signals, and windows. Stuff that still works includes the horn, brake lights, radio, and headlights. All fuses, in the interior and exterior boxes, tested good.  It starts and runs fine, just with no gauge power or anything stated above. No warning lights either. Things that I have tested: - Fusable link tested fine - No other fuses blown - Alternator good - IGN switch tested fine - With my power probe, I can backfeed power through the IGN pin to the plug on the back of the gauge cluster, and everything comes back on.    So my theory is something on the control side that sends the ignition power through the system isn't doing its job, or a wire is broken. (I would think that it is the ignition switch that would do that, but who knows?). The ignition relays don't fire (all relays tested good). So what tells them to fire other than the IGN switch?  I would really appreciate it if someone had some insight on this. I have tons of hours into this; I don't want to give up in defeat! I have the HD wiring diagram, but having all those wires laid out like that on one sheet of paper makes things pretty hard to follow.  Thanks for reading, and thanks for the replies.  Where should I look next? Thanks.
    • Install a MAP sensor pre and post throttle. Best data you could have for NA, then play with the bends and/or air box and see how much of inflection is created at WOT on the plot.
