Bought some BN WPI natural and vanilla.

The natural flavour tastes like powdered skim milk but ok if you make smoothies with it. The vanilla has a very faint taste too it. Definitely would choose ON in the flavour department for an extra $20.

I can see where you're coming from - the vanilla isn't really a strong flavour. I like it because it's simple and has the highest protein percentage, but I do agree the chocolate is much better! Banana isn't bad either, if you like the fake banana flavour haha

I'll grab BN chocolate next. I prefer paying cheaper and taste isn't a big thing for me anyway as i only have it once a day. Was just giving my thoughts for others who may not have had those flavours.

If I am doing a bike ride in the same day I am doing a PPP session I add a schoop of chocolate icecream to my shake, because I am a disgusting animal.

I use BN vanilla.

Dan I WAS paying $50 for 2lb of ON Gold Standard, til I started having 2 shakes a day.

If I were to get sucked into the bro marketing of the local supplement shop, I'd be paying ~$80 a kilo for Max's or Dymatize stuff!

Yeah the BN is $100 for 5kg of WPC.

I bought some fitbodies protein off ebay, $85 for 4kg. Serve size 30grms - 27grms protein, 1.2grms carbs and 0.8grms fats per serve. Chocolate tastes very good, better than BN. Mixes well with no clumps but does froth up a bit.

Little dubious on the protein claims and I'm sure the scoop is slightly bigger than 30grms but if taken at face value it's a very good protein at a terrific price.

    • From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.
    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

    • But if you had to go bury a body in the forest, would you not put that in the boot? Most of them are >=90kg these days.
