If I were eating a lot more, it'd be because I've committed myself more to the overall lifestyle. I definitely see and agree with what you're saying, it's just right now I'm not prepared to make the time to do it "right". For me right now, the "right" way is significantly less sustainable than paying a silly amount of money for the food. I'd go crazy after a week, my interest in even bothering to continue with any of this lifestyle would drop drastically, and ultimately I'd wind up with much worse results than taking this "shortcut"

I've done the whole meal preparation thing before - properly. It was good, but it took more time than I've got (or am willing) to spare right now. Was easy as hell given I was unemployed at the time lol...but ultimately I'm choosing a more enjoyable lifestyle routine over a more productive/efficient/dedicated (or whatever word you want to use) because I know in 2 months time I'll still be going strong with it rather than having burnt out in a week or two and hate myself.

Plus I currently have enough disposable income to afford it...before you say I could be spending that money on something more useful or saving it - that ain't happening either :P

As one of my good mates once said - "anything you're not prepared to sacrifice to achieve your goal, is something you desire more than your goal". There's nothing wrong with this, as long as I realise this is the case...and I do - I'd rather hold on to the little free time I actually have in order to enjoy my life in the short term.

I say that to people complaining about not being able to lose weight. I usually add, so don't bitch about not losing weight if you want <insert thing they should be doing>.

Honestly, I could care less what people do or how they go about achieving the results they want.

    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall

    • A few random issues have popped up since my last update. My WMI pressure sensor failed within about 10 minutes of it seeing liquid. It was a 20$ China special, so I'm not surprised. My name brand replacement should arrive today.  My power steering assist also decided to crap out last weekend. The usual, works for about 60 seconds after starting the car then I lose it. I dusted off my old copy of NDS and connected to the HICAS ECU. Code 4 for assist solenoid.... I tested the solenoid and it's fine.  I knew the day where my HICAS ecu would crap out would come, and I welcome it. It was the last HICAS part on the car that is now in the bin. I've ordered an SSR and I will control the power steering solenoid with my Haltech ecu. It will be nice to have proper speed referenced assist again after all these years.
    • Haha I just finished the last season of TPB: Jail last month. I'm happy they're still pumping out episodes.
