Had you not already decided on the T04z??

Its probably the best turbo for your goal if you are still considering a big single.

This was posted yesterday

r33 gtst. in process of building motor have got three options.... rb25 block gtr crank h beam eagle rods je pistons fully built head...

rb26 transplant same as listed for rb25 but with the flow characteristics of a 26 head with cams and so forth.

or a 26/30 built bottom head with cams blah blah you catch my drift i just cant make up my mind and i cant find ne decent machinist that dont want my left nut for making the 26/30 combo or doing machine work i was for both rb25 /26 engines

This was the 11th of jan

im putting a gtr crank into my gtst block but im unsure if the twin plate from my gtst will bolt upto the back of the gtr crank does neone know if the holes line up from gtst to gtr

Hang up a second. You didnt wanna pay a machinist to do you a 26/30 but you bought a tomei stroker today when yesterday you had 3 engine options about what you were thinking about building???

Says in that first post you have built internals etc etc??

I dunno bout anyone else but im sure as shit confused about pretty much everything you've said???

Care to clarify exactly what you do and dont have, im not being derogative towards you but mate tell us what you do actually have truthfully and we can give you honest and experianced advise

I have the tomei stroker hidden in a GT block.

Turbo's are HKS GT RS's with Tomei Procams 270 @ 10.25mm with a ported head.

Fullboost (1.65 bar) @ 4800 RPM in 4th (give or take 100 RPM)

Wouldnt change a thing. At times i wish i had maybe 2530's but it really isnt that bad.

lol now its a 2.8 HKS kit.

Now, the most important question... skylinekid... are you 15?

And before you bag someone maybe you should read who you are replying to. Skylinekid didn't say he had a HKS. :P

im still wondering who in aus had a tomei 2.8 in stock and was open on a sunday for him to go buy it.

Yesterday he was tossing up a 26, 25 or a 30/26 now his sporting a new tomei engine!

+1

yes i am also very confused as to what exactly he wants advice on.. which one of his 3 motors lol.

sometimes u just cant help retards :P

hey shane i know a good friend of urs so if i was u id watch ur mouth buddy....

im 20 i have a r33 gtst i was goin to go with th 25 head and block but wen i pulled it out and comtemplated everything i wanted big power with decent reliability the 25 block just wouldnt provide the right comfort factor that a 26 block would.... plus the reason i changed my mind about using the 25 i figure y waste money on an inferior head package.... dont get me wrong there still a good head but the 26 head is just far superior in flow characteristics.... do u undastand now ive just had a fair few mind changes lately as to where i wanna waste my hard earned money is that orite with u...

is it wrong for me to ask questions then realise that im doin the wrong thing huh enlighten me plz...

neways yes i figured i was gonna dump gtr shit into a 25 so i thought f**k it just get a gtr motor... makes sence to me

and yes to4z was my likely option i was just seen wat anyone else was gonna say

shit eh, i know a good friend of mine too! :)

what makes the 26 block better than a 25 block? theres HEAPS of 25's making "400hp" and higher

also any form of stroker is massive overkill for "400hp", fark even i wouldnt do that! and im into overkill ;)

seriously, if u want to be taken with any form of seriousness, think before you post mkay

well for one read b4 u post.... i want 550 to 600 rwhp

is it still overkill

What size cams and what headwork are you 'planning'?

That Tomei stroker kit is only the 8 counter kit and the 'cooling channel kit' is actually only an extra option regarding pistons. Everthing else is the same.

Do you actully need a stroker? Plenty of guys are running rb26's with TO4Z's and are making the required power.

    • I'd be very surprised if you can buy new OEM mats. But if you can, I want some too!  Do you have links to the variations you found? Also, where are you located? I found that Nengun is happy to list items to purchase but when you do buy them you'll get an email that it's actually discontinued. As far as I know the variations in floor mats are different colour schemes as well as automatic and manual having a slightly different shape. The automatic ones fit into a manual car without issues, but I think you'd have trouble fitting the other way around. I have photos that show the shape difference if you care. FWIW I bought sets of used floor mats in decent condition at yahoo auctions.
    • Hi 🙋‍♂️. Just bought my Unicorn but the interior need some minor work so it would match my expectations ;). I noticed it is hard to get used oem floor mats in good condition so i started to dig if there's any chance to buy set of new ones. I found two websites - nengun and amayama and it looks like one can still buy factory new floor mats in Japan, but thers a small issue. Some mats (i assume genuine, oem ones) are marked as G4900 and these are "discontinued". The ones you can buy are marked as G4911 but i have no idea if these are also oem, made by other producer or some lower quality replacements that looks entirely different. Can anyone help? 😃  P.s. there is also some strange indication - 0V005, 0V015 and 0V505. Any idea what does it mean? Would appreciate any help with this 🙏
    • Hi, Marek here 🙋‍♂️. I finally fulfilled my longtime dream - recently bought Stagea and now waiting for it to arrive in Poland. There's only few of these in my country, and one of the owners  recommended mi this forum as a source of all the info i'd need since now i own one  so here i am.
    • Version 1 aluminium airbox is.......not acceptable No pics as I "didn't like the look.....alot" Even after all my "CAD", and measurements, the leg near the fusebox just didn't sit right as it ended up about 10mm long and made the angle of the dangle look wrong, the height was a little short as well, meh, I wasn't that confident that Version 1 was going to be an instant winner I might give Version 2 another go, there's plenty of aluminium at work, but, after having in on and off a few times, and laying in the old OEM airbox without the new pod filter and MAF, there may be an option to modify the OEM air box and still use the Autoexe front cover and filter.... maybe This >  Needs to fit in here, but using the panel, and not the pod, the MAF will need to fit in the airbox though> I'm thinking as the old OEM box and Autoexe cover that is sitting in the shed is just sitting around doing nothing, and they are relatively abundant and cheap to replace if I mess it up and need another, it may well fit with some modifications to how the Autoexe brackets mounts to the rad support, and some dremiling to move it get in there, should give me some more room for activities, as I don't want to move the MAF and affect the tune Sealing the hole it requires to stick it in the air box is simple, a tight fit and some pinch weld will seal it up tight  I am calling this a later problem though
