f*kn idiots, they cant even get the specs of a car right - how the hell do people believe all the bullshit they hear on the news when the make mistakes as basic as that...

The car does look awesome though, thanks for the upload :D

And i have never seen 12 people viewing the one post at once lol!

Yeah it was in Perth and his s13 wasn't insured either. =\

The driver was fine, they stole the car and judging on the footage they set it on fire in a vacant lot.

I mean wtf would drive someone to hijack a car... then burn it. :D

good thing is that it apparently then has been allowed to run in targa west

couple of us were discussing it at MV on the weekend - at first i think it wasnt allowed

mind you the 180km/h gps speedcut would suck ass....

So this unveiling of the gtr tonight, does anyone know its open to all? Or is it only for a select few who got to RSVP?

It's invite only, so if you didn't get an invite I wouldn't bother turning up.

I'm sure it will be on display at there showrooms soon enough for public viewing.

I heard that Nissan have refused to turn off the speedlimiter.

As it is based on GPS could be hard to bypass.

Anyone else heard this?

mines VX rom has already solve that problem :)

also rumour has it that alot of other brands have an ecu option for the r35 gtr already

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
