Thanks for clearing that up Luke because I looked for a long time before buying my V-Spec and never saw a genuine Bayside NUR thats why I asked whether it had an air cond.

As far as I can remember it was either the NUR or M-Spec that didn't come out with one.

m-spec was the luxo model, so id say it was the nur that didnt.

Nah Pete, both the Nur and MSpec have a/c - it is the N1 that doesn't - they are true stripped down race cars. There were only a handful of R34GTR N1s ever made - under 40 I believe.

Nah sorry luke... only took pics of the on track action last weekend. Didn't bring the right lens for close up shots!!!

And regarding the bayside NUR if anyone wants to sit through 3 or so hours of handycam footage from Tokyo 2007 there is a lovely example with a modified hi-rise rear wing in there somewhere... rare yes, but so is the Z - tune and we got to sit in and have that one running!! Ask SNIPER.

spotted MIKE-99 33 4 door parked in a back street at the top of magil......clean ride if ya on here

was in and around the area most of the day changing light globes. Also put up with some chode in a TT VZ ute booting past us (and when i gestured for him to slow down a bit as he approached us he gestured something unkind back) and some tosspot in a Kluger having a go at me because he couldnt get past and wouldnt wait 30sec for us to finish up

^^^ is it really a Nur? I am under the very strong impression that Nurs only came in black, white, silver and millennium jade

yup its as real as he even has an empty bank account lol to prove it

on a serious note yes its real

Spotted tonight going north down goodwood road across the tram line a black R34 GT.T, had 6, 7, 8?, spoke rims in a dark bronze colour.. Couldnt see them that well. Sounded f'in tough :bunny: also had a massive GT style rear wing. Looked hot with it but.

na he isnt on here i got him to do a wedding with me once :bunny: funny enough his name is Mike and from memory he brought the car from FBI

black 33 on P plates, bout 11ish on nth east road i think (just up from redline).. didnt really notice him behind me until he was that far up my ass it was all i could see.. then proceeded to go around me and fly off at 80+ k's an hour only to have to brake for the redlight camera. nice move.

But then.. got caught at next lights next to me and ''dragged'' me off - HINT.. I wasnt racing!

If you on here.. no offense.. but driving like a dick was like wow, so impressive.

Next time ill brake test you, id like my rear bar repainted, thanks.

Oh and yeh, wine red 32 on nth terrace/anzacs.

andrew you driving down king william st today? there was a wingless black sedan - couldn't see if it had the bronze / gold wheels

nah Nick, wasn't me bud.

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
