well i have decided that i want gtr injectors in my rb25! because my injectors is side fed and gtr is top fed, i just wanna know how i can go by putting them in!

would i have to modify my rail and how would i have to do it?

if there's anyone who has done it or have ideas on how to i would greatly appreciate it! or if anyone has a set of 6 s15 injectors i would gladly buy them off you!

slidewize imports get some from japan

http://www.slidewizeimports.com/

since we cant get stuff from yahoo direct slidewize bids for us gets shipped to his Japan address and then on to us

>>Yahoo Injector Page<<

just calculated 400HP which is roughly 300Kw

so if you got 550cc you've got a little headroom for more power

Power: 400 horespower

Number of injectors: 6

BSFC: 0.65

Duty cycle: 0.85

This combination will require 535 cc/min injector (51.0 lbs/hour)

cheers guys! but i've decided to go for 200kw atw first so sticking to standard injectors would do the job! but in a few months time i will be getting my engine rebuilt! forgies, cams and maybe bore it to the max (2.6 litre) and a different turbo! but it's decided to go for 200 first =)

770 is a bit of overkill i think you only roughly need 450cc for 300kw

i am always thinking of room for expansion lol.....nothing wrong with 770cc injectors....

engine rebuilt and your only boring out a RB25 to a 2.6....correct me if i am wrong but i thought with RB25's you could bore it out to a bigger capacity to more like 2.8 or something....if i am correct why not do the 2.8 instead of the 2.6

yeah ^^ coz i think my mate had his RB20 bored out to something like a 2.3 or a 2.4l.....and i have also heard of RB26's being bored to 2.9-3.0l....so there is no reason in my mind as to why a RB25 cannot go to 2.8 or so...but i guess nos_man you will have to do a bit more research on that....ask you mechanics and see what they say or recommend....

2.7 is the most common set up for the 25 i believe running gtr crank n rods to do this...

anyone know if 25 injectors will fit in the 26 rail?

The 25 uses high impedance side feed injector where as the 26 uses low impedance top feeds. i know where you can get a top feed fuel rail made up for a 25 though.

yer kool its just im looking at running a 26 plenum and throttle set up on a 25, so wasnt going to change to 26 inj because of the impedance :)

you can always use resistors! but i reckon it's not worth it! better off getting something like rx7(13b's are 550cc), s15 injectors if you're on a budget like i am! but i thought i would give it a shot but nah........

I ordered Deatschwerks 450cc injectors, was pretty cheap. Was going to get the 480cc items, cheaper than S15 ones, and they suggested to get their 480's but then said only stock was 550's...... so they gave me 550cc injectors for the 450cc price. pretty decent deal. Plus factor is that Deatschwerks are world renowned for their quality hi-flows.

If you are after some $$$-saving, contact them in the States and see what they can do for you.

lol;

Once again;

The 25 uses high impedance side feed injector where as the 26 uses low impedance top feeds.

So no they won't fit.

If you don't want to stuff around with resistor pack and such use injectors suitable for RB20's because they will be top feed so they will fit the RB26 rail and the will also be high impedance so you won't have to change anything in the wiring.

New Injectors- Perfect Run.com

Have a look at the link above, a set of Sard 650 or 800cc's (both the same price) will cost you ~ $610 delivered.

    • Nah, don't bother doing any actual measurements on the car. Just go ask the inter-f**king-net.
    • I currently have 18 x 9 +30 on the front with 18 x 10.5 +38 on the rear. Absolutely regretted it. Ended up putting 15 mm spacers on front and 25 mm spacers on the rear. Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers. Definitely would go more aggressive then what you were originally planning. Keep in mind my guards are rolled and cars fair low so you might possibly need to roll guards depending how aggressive you go and how low the car is. Im not an expert but the 18 x 8.5 +25 18x9.5 +30 Sounds like it would sit much better.
    • Hey guys, sorry i have been researching for a few months and absolutely cannot wrap my head around this. I am about to order some rims to fit my R34 Gtt with coilovers My original plan was to order Rota grid R in 18x8.5 +30 235 40 R18 Fronts 18x9.5 +35 255 35 r18 rears But then the thought in my head said this isnt aggressive enough. I want the most concave spokes i can get without too much of poke and scrubbing   So my thoughts now is  18x8.5 +25 18x9.5 +30   My question is will this be the most aggressive i could get it without any guard rolling and does the type of rim style affect the offset / size.   Thanks everyone.
    • Lower parts are there. On passenger seat, bright yellow bit is the release mount. On drivers, bright yellow bit is the lower buckle for the other side. My bet is lowers are tucked out of the way as much as possible for visuals.
    • I'm guessing its a 4 point harness, 3 of the 4 belts are visible. I'm guessing the hidden belt is tucked down between the seat and door.
