Most of the top guys don't want to punt a Skelta fast cause they don't feel safe in it, let alone a R400.

Speaking of crashes, that blue evo that hit the power pole only had a bolt in cage. Which surprised me

My boss has the new 2L turbo FWD TT... really nice car to sit in, interior is a little cramped but very high quality... driving position is great as long as your not too tall... but its still a TT and as such I feel just a little feminine when driving it... handles great, VERY responsive on the throttle, has great torque down low

I'm sure its big brother the TTRS would be more manly... matte black does help... remember you are required to wear your blue tooth headset at all time when behind the wheel of a TT!

Matte white TT-RS with the dark intekes etc looks the goods. Certainly a lot less famanine than the series 1.

Nick, what are you still doing in here anyway? Weren't you banned? :(

oh wait what... this is SAU motorsport section!?... sorry I thought I was on myboyfrienddrivesanaudi.com

We had a good look at/sit in/feel of matt's TTRS pre-his mail delivery service gone bad. Was a lil cramped to get in/out of due to the exceptional cage, but a warm home once in, maybe a quick-release wheel or works bell flip up might make life a lil easier, but true credit to his build. They are a much nicer car than the early hairdresser spec cars.

I was so impressed with how it went considering how stock it was (stock magnetic suspension, stock brakes etc). Chuck a Haldex torque controller in to send more drive to the rear and it would be amazing.

I was amazed how much of the car is made of alloy, wouldn't have made building the cage easy!

Funni.... The guy looked right through me, wouldn't have had a clue who I was. lol ......

I had similar experience with the worlds fastest driver and best magazine editor. (they are the same person) lol

HAHA, don't be gangin up on me. Bloody hell, gives you girls an inch........

You'd take an inch.....

besides you must be gay knocking back an offer from a certain blonde girl girl at targa time.

So a broken drivers seat sitting on the consol didnt surprise you...

Its the cardboard box theory... an open box upside down has strength... with opening up - weak as p155.

Ask Simon Evans - even the best cage is not going to work best in a big sill impact, that is more car strength.

Hehe, he is nothing. After a night at the strippers i jumped in the lil R32 and chopped him at Sandown. And ther great thing is unlike my chop on the F430 at Winton this one was caught on tape :P

opening credits...chop, chop....frkn chop!

If it had been this blonde there wouldnt have been any discrimination or knokcing back :P

Well, talk about a late call-up. On the plane tomorrow morning (thurs) to Adelaide to recce for the ASP this weekend. Due to a fellow nav having to pull out, i got a call at 11am this morning. Looking forward to trying a new event even if the longest stage is only 10ish kms :D

Oh, and being a CAMS event...enough said. lol

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
