nice to meet some of you guys, was some nice cars there to.

i got a question though the higher the number is on the A:FR the leaner it is correct?

because im running pretty high. starts at 13.8 then dropes to 12.5 then goes back up to around 13.5. is this dangerously high? what should it be around?

yeah mate 13.5 is too lean, maybe dangerously so. you need to get it checked out.

safe targets are generally 12 or 12.5:1 at high load and high revs say over 4000rpm

:) spuwing... i knew my car was to good on petrol.

how do i go about checking my fuel pump?

better yet i got a 040 under my bed, will it run to rich if i just chuck it in, seeing injectors are still standard?

ps thanks for the help.

edit: forgot to mention mods are FMIC, straigh through turbo back, CAI and running 12psi. (boosted its self)

Hey Anna! sounds like your car is going good these days!

What do you think of the resurrection? It's still being finished obviously(sideskirts, pods) and it sounds like a lot of the electronics aren't wired in yet(thermo fans and boost control) but yeah, very happy to have it almost finished. I should be out with you guys in about 2 more weeks I hope :)

Oh and bring on the pics!! :)

Yeah noticed yours wasn't "quite" back together yet!! At least its back on the rd and running!!! Little stuff can wait! :) Looks good.... except the crooked grill !!! Although I kinda like the GTS badge :) Oh and tried to steal your carbon fibre wing but Doof was watching it like a hawk..... :P:)

Yeah its old reliability these days FINALLY!!

More than reliable going by that dyno result Anna. :P

The grill, bar and headlight are getting refitted and the sideskirts and pods are both painted and ready to be fitted. My only issue now is that the rims look a little small with the new guards. As for the badge, I gave an identical one to Dr Doof, maybe you could buy it off him? If he can find it...

Oh and I'm going to have to put a tracking system on that wing :) Everyone wants it lol.

Damn, spewing I missed this!

After getting 135.2kw on an R34 GTT back in July and recently changing spark plugs I need to know what difference it has made as a mate of mine pulled 161kw stock like mine pretty much except I've got a cat back and air filter.

Oh well maybe next time.

Aww.. Cheers Matt! :D I'll be out driving with you guys again soon!

Nice pics auss13

I was walking to my car for something and I saw this blue R33.

I started looking more closely then I saw the number plates. This is where I went "isn't that...?"

Look around the car, familiar wheels, familiar wing. Then I went looking for you. Later on I found out you where never there :)

    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
