Yeah, well I spoke to the blokes with the TommyK and the Nur:II. The Nur was a NurNOT as it was just badges put on a V-SpecII. The TommyK was real though. All the detail on it was amazing! It is too bad that they can't save the foot mashing for the track. Agreed, most of us can do a big burn out too - so what is the point.

When I told them I save the tyre spinning for the track in GD2ILA and they couldn't believe me. What's the point if you loose your license or worse if the police use the hoon law to take your car for 3 months!

I had a really good time! Thankyou everyone!

Cant wait for the next one! =)

yey!

Anna had fun, thats all it matters :ninja:

:P

hey guys what happened to Albert??

Didnt he go on the cruise???

Nuh man lol, my head was loose from the night before.

yes yes but also remeber i really doubt highway patrol would get close enough to see their number plates lol

Mate, I know you're probably joking but just remember it's a public forum.

Well said Pezhead, no need for it on the streets, yes they were nice cars but hell we all have nice cars and the majority can control their right foot as proven by the guy with the white R34 GTR who left after them. That Tommy Kiara car was very nice, I didn't think the other was a Nur Spec, if you want to see one of them, when I'm back on the Thursday cruises I'll ask my friend to bring his Nur Spec II down

I didn't see a Nur spec? Also the blue R34 GTR leaving, as good as it may sound isn't really the image that we want for the club. Any of us could it, we just choose not to.

Maybe so any of u could do it. But 99% of u wont.

Hey each to their own. Thats how i see it.

I dont think most of u guys can make a R34 GTR spin in a controlled way.

So yeah Eric. Anyways nice R33, maybe next time there is a Track Day can u invite me.

Thanks

hey guys, it was a good meet as this is my 2nd time. Sorry i couldnt stay and curize with you guys, i was too tired to do any more driving.

Im the owner of the white R34 GTR, just to confirm is a vspec II, not a Nur? i have no idea why it was bought up as a NUR. Im just glad i have a GTR..... lol

GTR32X, your car is sexual, evertime ive seen your car, theres always new goodies on it and same goes with the Grey GTR.

    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
    • More so GReddy oil relocation kits, sandwich plates, etc. all use 10AN fittings. And same, I've only used 10AN and my car sees track work (circuit, doing laps, not 10 sec squirt business).
    • street use or race track, what hose size and why? what factors change with the hose size options ?   see most comon is an10. when you see most oem external coolers are closer to an12? does high volume oil pump like nitto need an12 or 10 be just fine
